He escorted her back to the guest room.
"Get some good rest, and call me if you need anything. If you're feeling unwell, call the doctor."
He pointed to the landline on the bedside table, "Just press the intercom."
Lin Qinqin nodded, indicating that she understood. After giving his instructions, Lu Yin left.
The guest room door closed, restoring silence.
She let out an almost inaudible sigh, placing a hand on her forehead. Her head still felt a bit dizzy, and the nausea hadn't completely faded.
Uncomfortable.
Want to vomit.
Leaning against the headboard for quite a while, just as she was about to rest, her phone rang.
It was Weng Yan.
She answered the call without hesitation, "Weng Yan."
The soft voice, unexpectedly warm.
Weng Yan laughed, "I called you today, but you didn't pick up. Were you busy?"
When Weng Yan called her earlier today, it happened to be when she was being taken to the hospital, so she missed it.
"It's nothing, just a small mishap."
