Although Shangguan Linlang appeared indifferent, the Demon Sect Leader Yan Yue wasn't a fool and could easily see that Shangguan Linlang was merely forcing a smile. However, Yan Yue didn't call out Linlang's falsehood; he simply nodded to her. Soon, Yan Yue bid farewell to Shangguan Linlang, given that he had many matters waiting to be handled and couldn't waste time here.
"Linda, I'll head back first, and I'll contact you again when I go to the Tianshu Courtyard later. If He Ze can provide valuable clues, I'll notify you."
The Demon Sect Leader Yan Yue understood Shangguan Linlang cared deeply about the truth behind the demise of the Tianshu City Lord Yan Shu, so he had no reason to delay further. Yan Yue planned to visit Tianshu Courtyard the next day to meet He Ze personally.
Upon hearing this, Shangguan Linlang lightly tugged her lips into a smile, and said to Yan Yue, "Thank you for your trouble."
