Princess Edith and Emory walked into the banquet hall, and at first glance, they saw An Yiqing and Gu Yelin standing amidst the crowd. Edith immediately broke into a delighted smile, lifted her gown, and walked over.
"General Gu, did you sleep well last night?" Her smile was radiant, and although her foundation was too thick, it couldn't hide her stunning allure.
Gu Yelin didn't reply and nodded slightly at Emory.
An Yiqing thought she couldn't let the princess feel too awkward, so she replied on behalf of Gu Yelin: "Thank you for your concern, Princess. My Ah Lin slept well last night. But you, Princess, don't look too well. I'm a doctor, would you like me to take a look?"
Edith's expression twisted slightly, and she forced a grin at An Yiqing, "No need, I still trust Western medical arts more."
An Yiqing raised her eyebrow but said nothing, still smiling.
