The heavens and earth that enveloped them blazed brightly. Strands of mysterious light transformed into rivers that intertwined and crisscrossed, as dazzling as a multitude of stars. Whether it was the stars or the rivers, they all exuded an indescribable sense of the ancient and the grand. This was an entirely different world, ancient beyond the existence of Longhuang Island, and even more supremely eminent.
The Guantian Mirror of the Nine Heavens could discern all things, and even the rules of Longhuang Island's small world could not block its probing. Yet, near the Dragon Emperor's resting palace, it failed completely, most likely because of this world.
