Chapter 321 - Chapter 320 - Epilogue 02. (Final)

[Chapter Size: 3100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

In the first few months there were some misunderstandings, but no wizarding family, no matter how powerful, continued with complaints about someone "intimidating" the entire Slytherin.

Even the parents themselves began to beg their children to obey Severus's orders. That he should not be opposed and turned into an enemy; on the contrary, they should seek connections with him, because he would probably be the future of the wizarding world.

Prejudice still existed, obviously, but not in a blatant way, nor with the gratuitous violence that Severus had experienced in his original school years.

Hogwarts became a much livelier place, completely different from the timeline marked by the growing wizarding war. The children, especially those of Muggle origin, felt it in the air, and Dumbledore could not have been more grateful for the changes in the school's atmosphere.

In the first year Severus stood out not only for showing that even for an 11-year-old child, he was the most powerful being in the world. In the first year, everyone was shocked that Severus Snape took the Sword of Gryffindor and defeated the basilisk, bringing it out of the Chamber of Secrets. He did not kill it, but proved to everyone by caging it after a fight with the sword and transfiguring roosters, which he did upon discovering the Chamber of Secrets.

He could have defeated the basilisk easily, but made the fight more logical by the magical standards of this world. His transfiguration was always highly praised by Professor McGonagall, who stated that Severus was far ahead of his classmates.

He was labeled a prodigy in transfiguration, charms, and potions, one that Hogwarts had never seen in its history. Petunia in particular was shocked that Severus had been the center of attention since he arrived.

He had already joined the Slug Club with his companions, Lily especially, who had also enchanted Professor Slughorn. And he also appeared in the newspapers with praise and as a discovered genius at Hogwarts.

So with that, when the newspapers reported the fight against the basilisk, it was not so unbelievable, even showing Severus's strategy in defeating the basilisk by using transfiguration to create roosters and fighting with the magical Sword of Gryffindor. Many experts commented and praised the child.

Severus received the Order of Merlin, Second Class, that day, and the name Prince had a bright future ahead with its heir standing out like that.

The basilisk was handled by the Ministry, which placed it somewhere it would not bother anyone; obviously it was staged, because it returned to Severus, who wanted to take care of the creature as long as it did not attack anyone else.

Severus also cleared Hagrid's name, proving to everyone with evidence that it was Tom Riddle who had opened the Chamber of Secrets and killed Moaning Myrtle.

Severus had to explain in a press conference that he found some clues about where the Chamber's entrance was located, transfiguring a snake so that it would speak the password to the passage of the Chamber of Secrets. Severus then 'found' the monster and was forced to fight it.

The first year ended and Severus was the most famous and popular student at Hogwarts, something that in no other timeline he had wanted more than anything, yet he had always been the most neglected student in the school. The Marauders tried to make him so, but they learned that Severus was untouchable, no matter what they did.

The years passed. Severus continued to stand out, always staying with his companions. Bellatrix changed a lot; she could be arrogant, but she treated people with more respect now and her family encouraged her relationship with Severus.

When they reached the fifth year, Severus gave his memories to all the girls who had become inseparable from him since the first year. They formed a group that no one dared to provoke and he was even pointed out as a man in a harem, to the envy of all the boys in the school. The girls no longer let anyone approach, and many had tried in recent years.

The Marauders, known for their pranks over the years, stopped trying anything with Severus. They had learned that no matter what they did, they were always the ones who ended up humiliated.

Strangely, the headmaster never punished Severus. Even though he had a clear preference for Gryffindor, with Severus it was different. There seemed to be a silent respect between them. He also became a prefect in the fifth year.

After the memories were restored in the girls, all of them accepted a multiple relationship with Severus, just as had happened in the other timeline.

Rosaria had already become the History professor since the first year, so the relationship with her already existed. Severus used the Chamber of Secrets itself, which had been closed after what happened in the first year, turning it into a huge private space where he prepared potions and practiced spells without anyone having access. He even slept there, with his enormous bed.

He and Rosaria used to sleep there together most nights. Over time, Severus also began to take the other girls there to train, prepare potions, or simply spend the night.

Severus could create advanced technology from other worlds with darkness and could create a huge entertainment room hidden in Hogwarts, with a cinema, simulators, and games for everyone to have fun.

Each girl received a Teleportation Stone created by him, guaranteeing exclusive access to the exclusive place without passing through the entrance of the closed Chamber.

In the fifth year as well, Severus stood out as a business genius, personally creating many businesses for the Princes. He personally defended the use of Muggle technology in potions; although Severus was respected at that point, many scoffed at it. He did not care about the criticism; he would prove it in the future.

Severus owned three shops in Hogsmeade and opened a line of magical food restaurants that delivered like a delivery service. He himself stopped eating Hogwarts food and ordered dragon meat with more magically healthy products, and his girls received this as well every day.

In the fifth year, the headmaster announced that Hogwarts would participate in international magical dueling tournaments, and even Quidditch teams, where he became the Seeker of Slytherin, winning most of the matches since his second year.

He repeatedly won the World School Dueling Championship, representing Hogwarts with his team, with Lily, Pandora, Clarisse, and Bellatrix being unbeatable with the training that Severus continued giving them. No other school participating in the tournament had any chance against that team.

In the sixth year, Severus once again won the world dueling championship; he was still Slytherin's Seeker and a prefect. But what he truly stood out for, beyond his public relationship with four women, and beyond the rumors that he also had an affair with the History professor, was becoming the youngest Potions Master in the history of the wizarding world.

He already stood out in potions, and since he was influential, the public loved a 14, 15, and 16-year-old intelligent boy writing about something; he began publishing articles in specialized magazines, making discoveries about potion ingredients and preparation methods.

But when he published his first creation, and it was proven, he earned his title as Potions Master. In that same year, he created three other revolutionary potions, highlighting the Prince name.

The name Severus Prince was acclaimed throughout the magical world, nationally and internationally.

In the seventh year, he became Head Boy of Hogwarts alongside Lily; they were highlighted as a golden couple. But Severus truly stood out when he created a new prototype cauldron with runes, revolutionizing the study and market of potions. He created five other new potions and countless discoveries.

But something shocking happened, because Severus personally took over the teaching of Defense Against the Dark Arts. He began to teach classes, stating that he would break the curse that had not lifted even after Voldemort had been dead for more than 10 years. Many complained, but they were the minority; most parents wanted their children to be taught by the genius, even causing international students to come study at Hogwarts that year.

Another highlight was that he rewrote all of Hogwarts' school books in potions, changing the method of teaching and standing out worldwide. Many countries changed their teaching materials thanks to Severus Prince, the genius of the millennium, recorded in the new books.

In the seventh year there was also the Triwizard Tournament, and as everyone expected, Severus was Hogwarts' champion, and as everyone expected, he won the Tournament, casting spells of his own that shocked the wizarding world.

He restrained the dragon in the first task by creating a tree from the ground that covered and trapped it while he grabbed the egg. In the second task, he transformed into lightning after a sound-detection spell; he flew into the sky and descended into the water transformed into a lightning bolt, bringing back his little sister who had entered the school that year.

Solene was respected from the moment she arrived; everyone knew her brother, and he made it clear how much he valued her. She felt very jealous of Severus, since she was always "Severus's sister," the great genius of the millennium. However, she stood out far better than even older students, as Severus trained her and gave her some extra magic throughout the year. He was also always there to help her whenever she needed anything.

At the end of the seventh year, Severus also received the title of "a new Merlin." He had won academic performance awards every year and stood out in various areas, because he published new discoveries in transfiguration and charms, in addition to potions, which were his main field of expertise. Among spells, many were to combat the Dark Arts, which became essential for teaching the students.

When they graduated, the wizarding world was focused on Severus, and the news came from the Daily Prophet and various gossip magazines:

"Severus Prince will marry five women at the same time. Including his own professor and colleague when he became a DADA professor."

The article revealed the story of the inseparable group and how that union had already been expected by many.

He broke the curse of the DADA professors when he returned to teach at Hogwarts the following year, breaking the curse once and for all. He also stood out for the subject's success.

Over the following years, Severus left Hogwarts after his second full year in DADA; another professor then took over, with the curse no longer present.

He focused on potions, and they had to give him an exclusive title for being an unreachable genius; he received the title of Platinum Cauldron. This was well accepted, as he widely publicized more discoveries and creations in potions than any other master had managed to develop throughout all of history.

The Prince name was exalted as the greatest lineage of potions masters. Lily Prince, one of his wives, stood out alongside her husband in potions, and she was connected to the discoveries together with his wife Clarisse, who specialized in ingredients.

In this life, Severus never again needed to use his shadows in public. Even so, they remained in a world created within his own shadow — a domain where they lived peacefully, like a society of their own. Something he learned from Ashborn when he created that world in his death.

Some time later, Severus had his first children. All the women faced some difficulties during pregnancy due to the immense amount of mana that the fetuses radiated. As children of the Shadow Monarch, the energy within them was absurd.

Even so, Severus ensured that the pregnancies were peaceful after managing to suppress the mana. The enormous amount of mana did not harm them.

On the contrary.

It strengthened them.

Suddenly, they had become much more powerful — reaching a level above Dumbledore and even a Severus from the other timeline, before reaching the Black Heart. They gained immortality just like Severus.

Not to mention that all of Severus's children were extremely powerful. He placed shadows to watch over them.

All the women were shocked by the change in their lives, and to the public, the Prince family was highlighted as the most powerful in the wizarding world.

So, Severus decided to raise them in a space separated from the world. He created a series of floating islands in the sky near Great Britain, transforming them into a vast magical territory where he gathered all the magical creatures of the world.

At the center, he erected a great castle for his family. There were portals that led anywhere in the world whenever they wished.

There, Severus took care of his family for the rest of his life on the planet.

His mother, his father, and his siblings could live on the island or visit them whenever they wished. After Severus had left Hogwarts, his sister continued into her third year, but Severus always kept an eye on her. He had taught her many things.

And, for carrying the Prince name, no one dared to bother her after Severus left Hogwarts as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

She had peaceful and happy school years at Hogwarts. She had trustworthy friends, stood out in her studies — perhaps not as much as her brother — but she also participated in the Triwizard Tournament of her generation.

And she won.

Just as she won dueling tournaments, following in the footsteps of her brother, who had won during his last three years at Hogwarts.

Severus's second brother, Adrian Prince, entered Hogwarts shortly after his sister — after all, they were three years apart — and was sorted into Ravenclaw. Extremely intelligent and also trained by Severus, he became known as a great spell creator.

Severus's mother visited the island frequently, watching her grandchildren grow.

And she could not complain. In just a few years, she already had more than twelve grandchildren. Some of Severus's wives had four children; others had three.

All the children were special and would command their generation just like their father.

Their accidental magic was impressive — from spontaneous teleportation to instinctive flight; some would make the entire island tremble with childish fury.

When Severus divided his life between traveling the world as a Potions Master, discussing new formulas or giving lectures — after all, he specialized in that — he earned more than five First Class Orders of Merlin. He even dealt with three rising Dark Lords in some countries such as the USA and Japan.

At other times, he divided his life by being with his family, living a peaceful and happy life on the floating islands filled with magical creatures.

He had loyal and loving wives.

From time to time, he even left the planet. He traveled to the Order and checked how things were. The Rulers maintained the balance of the universe, and Severus occasionally took his family to visit other worlds — as if they were vacations.

Steve also appeared a few times over the years; his children even called him Uncle Steve.

Thus he lived through the years. Unfortunately, his uncle Alaric died at 140 years old, his father died at 70, and his mother died at 110, remaining with her great-grandchildren and their children while living with Severus after her husband's death.

Severus also witnessed the deaths of his siblings, which was sad at the time, but something natural — though terrible for one who becomes immortal. His siblings left nephews and descendants, all welcomed by Severus. They died after their mother, also at over 100 years old.

By this time, everyone from his era was already dead. The only ones who remained were his own family. His wives had also become immortal, due to the enormous amount of mana they received during their pregnancies.

And so, they watched the world change over the centuries and then millennia. They saw humanity evolve, technology advance to the point of beginning to affect the wizarding world in the early centuries.

Then conflict arose. Severus became involved and managed to calm both sides. The world was already shocked that Severus and his family were immortal, but no one ever did anything against them. He served as a mediator between the wizarding world and the Muggle world, establishing rules for both to live peacefully, since the Statute of Secrecy no longer worked with Muggle technology advancing to the point of traveling to other planets and conducting business with other worlds and species.

While the world changed and colonized other planets, the small island in the skies of Great Britain remained as it always had.

Severus continued surrounded by wives, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless descendants who arose over the centuries and millennia to visit the man who had become the Shadow Monarch — and who now simply lived his life protecting the world alongside the people he loved.

He had many children and other descendants who went to the Order. Unfortunately, immortality stopped with his children; the grandchildren eventually died, despite living for centuries, some reaching up to 500 years. But their lifespan decreased with each generation, with Severus always being the central point of the power of immortality — the farther removed they were, the weaker it became. Even so, the later descendants lived at least 200 years.

Then he finally made a decision with his wives. He announced that he would go to other worlds with them, to live new experiences. And so it was.

Severus Snape left planet Earth in the year 12435, with the planet filled with records about him, about his story, with monuments and statues dedicated to him and his family all over the world, as if he were the protective god of that world. After all, he always intervened to help humanity in multiple matters; there was never a third world war while he was there.

After having lived more than 10 thousand years, with his children still alive and protecting the world, he left the world with his companions to live new adventures, while they would visit the world from time to time. After all, the island remained floating in the air on that planet, with some of his immortal children taking care of it.

Severus then left Earth, and that was the story of the Shadow Monarch.
