The two old men started bickering with each other after exchanging just a couple of words.
When Qin Mu and Mu Yichen came down again, they noticed that Grandpa Jing from the Jing Family was already gone. Qin Mu asked, "Has Grandpa Jing left?"
"Hmph! That old guy is full of issues. He even said that drinking at our place would cause indigestion! The sooner he leaves, the better!"
The old man responded unhappily, but his face was full of regret.
Qin Mu turned to look at Mu Yichen, exchanging a glance with him. Mu Yichen tried hard to stifle his laughter. He knew his grandpa well enough to know that he wanted Grandpa Jing to stay for dinner. But Grandpa Jing had declined because of the couple.
Oh well, they had gotten used to it over the years!
"Grandpa, don't be upset. Let's invite Grandpa Jing over for dinner another day. Didn't Yichen say there are two good bottles of wine at the office? He'll bring them back for you tomorrow!"
