Qin Mu suddenly remembered them asking for red envelopes from her in the morning, and sighed helplessly, knowing full well that the kids don't usually have such sweet mouths.
"I need to pay New Year's visits later, you..."
Mu Yichen finally interrupted their conversation.
"Oh! I'll be at home!"
Qin Mu immediately answered him.
Mu Yichen hadn't planned for her to go with him.
"Lunch is booked at AM, all familiar friends. Do you know which private room?"
Mu Yichen shifted to another topic.
Qin Mu thought for a moment: "Hmm!"
Mu Yichen nodded: "Would you two stay here with mom or go with me?"
The two little ones were undecided, after all, they hadn't gotten red envelopes from mom yet, but if they went out with dad for New Year's visits, they'd sure receive big red envelopes.
Qin Mu looked at their hopeful eyes, thought for a moment, and softly said: "I don't have red envelopes here, but if you want, I'll give each of you a bill."
