When I got pregnant back then, without Lu Changsheng's permission, I gave birth to this child, which might cause some trouble and impact for Lu Changsheng.
Secondly, the matter of Bailu Palace, and the fact that I became pregnant without being married, it's not good for this news to spread.
For the sake of the reputation of Goddess Palace and with Shen Yuanming growing older, asking about his father, Shen Baishuang helped come up with a method.
To the outside world, they announced that Shen Yuanming was conceived when she dreamt of a star descending and had a feeling of pregnancy, and it was the same for her son Shen Yuanming.
Her son Shen Yuanming firmly believed in this saying that he was a Heavenly Son, a Descendant of Divine Men.
Now, with Lu Changsheng, the child's father appearing, how should I explain this?
Shen Yiren felt a bit troubled.
In essence, she's a traditional woman, and she still hopes her son Shen Yuanming can acknowledge Lu Changsheng as his father.
