Sang So-Yi watched the second Therris Tower from the binoculars on the balcony of her tower, noticing Iridescent Aura flowing from around the tower. She grunted softly then turned around to look at Li-Na. "Do Li-Na, are we able to get our Tower activated yet?"
Li-Na pushed her glasses up as she typed on her laptop, glancing through the openings of the staircase railings to see the progress with Ye-Won, Sun-mi, and Yu-Ni. "Not yet...the Old General's Core only starts up the tower but shuts down immediately after."
So-Yi exhaled softly through her nose then looked back over at the second tower, walking to the railing of the balcony and noticing sharp vines sprouting from the ground around the second tower. "He's there now...Jiahn, remain safe. Until we come up with a plan, this is all we have for now..."
Meanwhile at the second Therris Tower, the battle between Jiahn's group and Drevas waged on. Drevas launched wide arcing attacks to try to attack each student, but Ahmed shared his energy with everyone. Drevas's rooted arms began rippling through everyone like a void, leaving each student unharmed in his wake.
Kim Eun charged forward like rushing winds, striking his cheek with a Rushing Breeze, her fist soaring across his fast and releasing a burst of high winds. Hwang Ji-yong's eyes began to glow, amplifying the winds into razor winds to slice Drevas's body with sharp bladed winds.
"Alright! That's keeping him still, now for us to make our move!" Ko'rai laughed heartily and crossed his arms, his Azure Coatyl letting out her battle cry toward Drevas.
"Hmph, don't get too excited there big bro. This guy is still an angel, a Principality that can't accept his loss when Yesha won on the cross. It seems we have to remind him that our Lord gave us authority over them," Ahmed said then lifted his hand so his Sorien Graywing butterfly could take flight.
Drevas grunted and clenched his teeth tightly, releasing a burst of nether energy around his body to disperse the winds then looked up, his eyes widening as he noticed a void opening in the air. "What the—"
Ahmed's void began ripping the roof off the tower, the rubble and destroyed metallic pieces of the tower entering the void in a spiral motion. "The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies..."
I watched from the distance beside Heather with my arms crossed, my gaze shifting to the void in the air then back down toward Drevas. I held my hand out and casted a barrier around Jiahn and the others, even Heather to protect her spirit from Ahmed's attack.
"The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet! He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Wadataka and Maanga wither and the blossoms of Lunia fade," Ahmed continued, grunting softly as red lightning crackled around his body as he focused his void into one singular orb.
His stance became more sturdy as he aimed the orb of energy toward Drevas, gripping his wrist as he continued to focus. The ground beneath us began to rumble, dust and rubble falling off the destroyed roof as the tower groaned under Ahmed's might.
"The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it! Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him! Nineveh Wrath!" Ahmed bellowed, unleashing a focused beam of energy toward Drevas.
The beam roared as it rushed toward Drevas like rushing waves and an uncontrollable flame, shifting between colors of crimson and cerulean. Ahmed grunted heavily as he as thrown back from recoil, Drevas unable to move quick enough to avoid the true might of the Sorien Tribe of the Eyicanites.
The smoke cloud began to slowly clear, revealing Drevas's wings tattered and wounded, the feathers seared from the immense heat of Nineveh Wrath. Drevas slowly uncovered himself, his face pained and etched with annoyance. He took a step forward, his body staggering slightly in pain and causing him to grunt softly.
"No...I refuse to bow down to a lowly mortal...I ruled over the Five Provinces, so how dare you try to send your sinners against me?!" Drevas roared, launching himself toward Ahmed with a powerful Nature Hammer.
Ahmed grunted heavily as he barely blocked the attack, Drevas driving him out of the tower them teleported to him with a kick and knocking him across the field. Ahmed's back slid across the ground, but he vanished into a void for safety.
"We may be imperfect, we may be sinners in your eyes, but in the eyes of our Lord, we are his sheep!" Ko'rai bellowed as he rushed toward Drevas with a searing fist.
"Sheep?! You think your God is the Good Shepherd when he denied me my promised glory?" Drevas retorted, catching Ko'rai's fist then launched him out the tower as well with a powerful toss.
Jiahn dashed toward Drevas from behind, tackling him and driving him out the tower as well. She rolled forward, sending Ji-MAN forward then warped toward her. While in the air, Jiahn bellowed as she threw him to the ground and warped after him with an axe kick to drive him into the ground.
Jiahn noticed Drevas was not beneath her then stood up quickly and glanced around in confusion. Teleporting at her side, Drevas staggered her with a backfist to her jaw then a knee to her stomach, managing to slightly fracture a few ribs. Jiahn groaned in pain and stumbled backwards, but was unable to recover as Drevas rushed her with a barrage of nether strikes.
"Where is your Lord? He has left you to your own devices hasn't He? You lowly humans lack a mind of your own! Open your eyes to the Lord you serve! A Savior He is...now you fall under your own false beliefs!" Drevas goaded, sharpening his oak wood arm into a blade and thrusted it forward.
"The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing..." Jiahn whispered under her breath, her Holy Fire emitting powerfully and a shield of spirit energy formed in front of her, blocking Drevas's attack. "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters..."
"He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake," Jiahn finished, a rejuvenating aura washing around her body and moderately healing her wounds and blessing her with a slightly stronger body.
"Eonni! Your Strength has grown after your reciting! Whoa! And you've completely healed!" Ji-MAN gasped, covering her mouth in awe as she looked at Jiahn with sparkling eyes.

Jiahn exhaled softly and smiled at Ji-MAN's statement and nodded, adjusting her jacket and slipping her hands into her pockets. "It's the power of knowing your Scripture and being in prayer...you can do just about anything if you have Ascea at your heart."
"Ha! I, too, had Ascea at my heart and guess what He did for me? Nothing! He took away everything from me! My Provinces, my true bride, everything! You say He's there...yet He has left me! But now...I found a new path," Drevas said, holding his hand out toward Jiahn and summoned two Imps behind himself before vanishing.
The Imps laughed and pranced around with their bidents in hand, aiming them at Jiahn to begin tormenting her. However, before they could move a step, they froze in place, their eyes widening in shock as they looked behind Jiahn.
Jiahn glanced behind herself, her breath hitching in her throat as she noticed a cloaked woman standing behind her. "Who...who are you?"
The woman walked past Jiahn then held her hand out to her side, a pair of dual blades in the shape of golden scissors forming in her grip. "The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favour with him. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."
"I am the Flora Vinesever, Lady IllIlI. From Mount Zekt and through the rivers of Cynthia, from the mountains of Dagrax to the forests of Therris...I sought God and found Him with my purpose while fools like the hiding angel have never truly known Him," The cloaked woman said, her gaze never leaving the Imps in front of her.
"There's a name for people like the demon you're facing...a Herisee. They always wash the outside of their cups to look clean, but leave the inside of their cups dirty. However, the veil has lifted and the truth is exposed," She continued, exposing the energy stream of the Imps then used her scissors to cut them.
Jiahn watched as the Imps slowly disintegrated into black particles, yet her mind continued to replay the words spoken by the supposed Queen IllIlI. She stared at the cloaked woman, her brain finally realizing that it was Luciel under the cloak but her Spirit had her keep the secret.
"You were here at the beginning of the lesson...What is the goal here? No one has any clue on what to do and we are left fighting things that are beyond our level!" Jiahn pressed, walking in front of Luciel to catch her face but the hood of her cloak hid it.
Luciel turned around and pointed at the tower with her scissors, looking inside it and gestured toward Heather. "You must activate those towers if you want to defeat the Principality that dwells within this Battle Zone. Each tower is guarded by a member of King Gideon's old Royal Guard. Their Spirits live on in regret, yet unlike Drevas their core is still alive."
"My Spiritual Husband is your key into activating these towers which will activate the Main Therris Tower, Therris's Head. All four towers have to be activated all at once if you want the Main Tower on. Kindness is your key if you want progress...these towers work under old covenant laws, so you just sacrifice something for the Orb to work," She finished, lowering her scissors then began to sense a presence nearby.
Suddenly, Drevas emerged from beneath Luciel like a spiralling drill to strike her, but Luciel and Jiahn both avoided his attack by warping backwards. "Spiritual Husband? So, it is you! Wisdom herself!"
Luciel looked up at Drevas and got into her stance, her Warden Butterflies fluttering over her head in a halo formation. "Your branch should've been cut off a long time ago, but it seems cutting off your branch meant cutting out off from the roots!"
"You can cosplay as the Queen IllIlI and have her powers, but that means nothing to me! I'll kill you and the rest of your pathetic lambs then continue my dominion where I left last," Drevas threatened, snapping his fingers to summon a group of Corrupt Valkyrias, multiple black winged female warriors appearing behind him.
The Corrupt Valkyrias began to rush toward Luciel with their swords drawn high and ready to strike her down. Before they could reach her, a powerful blast of wind struck the winged warriors, blowing them away then recovered in the air. They each looked at the entrance of the tower, seeing Kim Eun and Hwang Ji-yong at the large doors.
"I know that annoying voice anywhere... Tah! Just two days of teaching us and she's already more exciting than the rest!" Kim Eun bellowed, pointing at Drevas and the Corrupt Valkyrias, a small ember emitting from her chest. "I may not like this new woman that waltzed in here, but if anyone is gonna make her and Sa Nu Rim leave it's us! Class 12-A! The best generation of Valkyrias and Heroes!"
Luciel chuckled at Kim Eun's claim, adjusting her mask and flourished her golden scissors and got into her stance. "Make me leave? Good luck with that, I'll leave once my purpose has been fulfilled!"
Kim Eun smirked, her eyes glowing brightly as blue and green aura rushed around her body, her Holy Fire growing even stronger upon her chest. "Gaja!!"
Kim Eun got down in her running start, blue lightning crackling around her body then her body began a blue blur as she rushed forward like the winds. She ran around the Corrupt Valkyrias, forming a tornado around them and laughed as Yuvah began gracing her with His Spirit.
"Don't have all the fun without me, Kimmy!" Hwang Ji-yong called out, adjusting her arm sleeves and charged into the fray as well and began amplifying the tornado into a massive blue-green whirlwind.
Jiahn grunted softly as the winds howled around the area of the Therris's Left Claw, the second Therris Tower, the high winds picking up rubble and dust. "They just gained a Holy Fire! Ji-MAN, what are they looking like?"
"Super strong! Their power just boosted up to A Rank when their Fire for the True God is alive! Look!" Ji-MAN replied, displaying her UI in front of Jiahn with their attributes.

Jiahn inhaled sharply with impress, her gaze returning to the battle in front of her, watching the whirlwind wipe away the Corrupt Valkyrias into dark particles. "The brain and brawn duo...who knew Kim Eun's friend group actually had a naturally smart person within it..."
Drevas watched as the last of his Valkyrias vanished then teleported toward Kim Eun with a devastating strike, but Luciel warped in front of him and blocked the attack with her Warden Butterfly. Knocking him off guard, Luciel began gracefully landing swift slashes along his body, each slice meticulously aiming for the butterflies perched upon his body.
Drevas grunted heavily as he noticed she was slowly chipping away at his butterflies then flapped his wings to blow her away and fly backwards. He held his hand out and summoned a large rose in front of him, the bud aimed at Luciel then blossomed immediately, firing a massive Gaia Beam toward her.
Luciel's eyes began to glow behind her mask and hood, rainbow aura pulsing around her body and the Yaoke Sigils manifesting in front of her. Suddenly, the beam dispersed into thin air, the floral green particles floating up into the air. Luciel grunted softly as she closed her eyes, staggering lightly and smiling under her mask.
"What the heck was that?" Drevas asked, watching as Luciel staggered, none of his previous memories recalling IllIlI having such an ability. "Who exactly are you under that disgui—"
Suddenly, an invisible force struck him from the left then a strike connected upon his right, causing him to stagger light. He let out a roar of defiance, but went flying as Ahmed revealed himself from his void with a Void Cannon, the neutral energy of his spirit releasing a powerful blast of energy.
Drevas landed upon the ground, clawing at it to prevent himself from sliding backwards. He roared once more and launched himself forward, only for Ko'rai to intercept him quickly with a Dragon Crush, sending him flying across the field once more. Ko'rai roared powerfully, his draconic aura pulsing powerfully around his body and cracking the ground slightly.
"Alrean Technique!" Ko'rai bellowed, outstretching his arm and bringing his palms together, energy generating in his hands and releasing immense pressure. "Reshinun Scream!"
Ko'rai bellowed as he unleashed a massive beam of draconic energy, the beam of energy screaming down the field to reach Drevas and leaving behind destruction in its wake. Drevas noticed the beam approaching him and summoned a black rose to unleash a Gaia Beam Ø, the black and pink beam colliding with Ko'rai's with devastating force.
Jiahn and the others watched the beam struggle, each of them holding their breaths in the moment as Ko'rai stood toe to toe against the Principality of Pride. I began to step out of the tower with Heather, watching the beam struggle then crossed my arms with divine silence.
"Despicable, detestable human trash! I was a King with Divine Favor and Authority! I refuse to be defeated by mortal trash! Through my own efforts, I became an angel! From a lowly Ent to a Totec and now a Nature Angel! I am above you trash! Ragnarok couldn't keep me down so why do you think you can?!" Drevas roared, amplifying his beam and began to overpower Ko'rai.
Ko'rai grunted as he began to get pushed back, but Ahmed rushed behind him and pushed him forward, surprising him. "Ahmed..!"
"Don't listen to him, bro! He's just salty that he was judged and did not find the Savior of all things! Had he have, he could've been truly saved, but look at him! His own pride will not let him look past his own downfall!" Ahmed stressed, continuing to push Ko'rai forward and huffed with exertion.
Ko'rai continued to push as hard as he could, grunting under the pressure he could not hold alone. "Don't worry...I won't let him get into my head, but...Heh, this guy is starting to grow stronger!"
"That's right! Struggle under the true glory! Fools like you do not know divine might! Your abilities are merely child's play to me!" Drevas boasted, his Gaia Beam Ø completely breaking through Ko'rai's attack and engulfing his body in the corruptive energy.
Both Ko'rai and Ahmed groaned as they were caught in the beam, a large explosion taking place with black and pink smoke rising in the air. Both men were thrown backwards, their bodies rolling on the ground and both of them reverting to their normal forms in defeat.
Jiahn, Kim Eun, and Hwang Ji-yong all looked surprised to see Ko'rai and Ahmed defeated, the three girls all looking over at Drevas who was standing tall. Drevas spread his wings in triumph and generated two bladed roots at his sides, preparing to finish both Ko'rai and Ahmed off.
Quickly, Jiahn sprang into action and charged toward Drevas then warped ahead with a tornado kick, but she reverted into her normal form as well and fell to the ground with exhaustion. She grunted as she rolled over along the ground to Drevas's feet, her eyes widening as she noticed his devious grin above her.
"It seems human weakness strikes again...your flesh can't handle such divine power, especially not as a new Ascean. Now, you will face the consequences of your error!" Drevas threatened and grabbed one of the bladed roots, bringing his arm down in one swift motion to finish off Jiahn.
Kim Eun rushed toward Drevas with great urgency, driving her shoulder into his midsection and striking him with a Spear. She couldn't drive him to the ground, but she pushed him away from Jiahn with all the strength she could muster. "Get away from her!"
"Now things are getting interesting! We are truly seeing what you're capable of now!" Drevas laughed, striking Kim Eun with multiple punches to her body and head to get her off him.
Hwang Ji-yong charged forward with her heart pumping harder than ever, noticing the battle had truly started. She launched herself forward with a strike to Drevas's face, but he teleported away with Kim Eun still around him.
"You pathetic humans shall learn how to respect true authority!" Drevas called out from the air, holding a struggling Kim Eun over the ground by her hair, preparing to drop her. "Watch closely, Ascea! Watch as one of your sheep dies in front of your eyes!"
"Don't you dare drop her, you bastard!" Hwang Ji-yong yelled at the top of her lungs to Drevas, her heart racing even more then she grunted as her chest began to hurt.
Jiahn began to pant heavily as she watched Kim Eun dangle from high in the air, her worries heightening and causing her eyes to water. "No...don't do it!"
I watched as Drevas stared down directly toward me, as if taunting and tempting me into anger. I watched calmly, though my butterflies fluttered around me in anger each one pulsing with divine red energy. My left eye twitched with annoyance at Drevas, my flesh manifesting around my body, my full presence now known at the tower.
Drevas rose a brow of confusion at my physical presence, wondering who I was. "What..? You are not Yesha, who are you? How do you of all people have Yesha's True Spirit?"
I stared up at Drevas, my eyes shimmering an amber glow as my Yaoke awakened in my eyes. "I am not Yesha, just as Yesha is not God the Father, but is still God. I am Nox Winters of Morgan, Exzodia, but today...you can call me The Omega..."
'The Omega...?' Drevas asked mentally then a sudden cold chill crept down his spine as he realized that was one of Ragnarok's titles. 'No way he's...he's the incarnation of Ascea?'
"I am. I don't go around flaunting who I am, but just know that I am the very Sword that comes down to cut the deception of Terminus. Yesha finished the battle, but I am here now to remind you of that finished work! I am Noxius Ascea Exzodia!" I declared, taking my Sovereignty Stance and awakening my Messiah Form.
Drevas cracked a mischievous smirk at me as he dropped Kim Eun from the air, Kim Eun letting out terrified screams and pleas of terror as she descended from high up. As she fell from the skies, a large Warden Butterfly manifested beneath her to catch Kim Eun safely and bring her to the ground.
"These are my students...the children I have to bring up in the name of God. For you to put them in harm's way is unforgivable!" Luciel chastised, her aura surging powerfully around her body and throwing her hood off her head.
Drevas looked down at Luciel and descended to the ground, pointing at Therris's Left Claw. "You activate those towers...and the Angel within the main tower shall awaken and you can not stop him. Once I gain my powers, no being will be able to stand against me! Not a Warden! Not an Evangelist! Not even a Messiah!"
"Then let's put that to the test. Let's see if your arms are long enough to box with God," I said, walking toward Drevas before becoming a silver silhouette.
Drevas quickly searched around for me, noticing the reality around him beginning to crack and shift, dragging him, Luciel, and myself into Therris's Left Claw. The doors shut, the sun's rays entering through the destroyed roof to provide light within the tower. The Choir Triad II Statues activated, each of them singing their praises.
Drevas sensed one of my invisible attacks and managed to use his wing to block it then noticed me appearing in front of him. He smirked and launched a strike at my chest, my Iridescent Aura blocking his attack and causing him to flinch backwards in shock.
"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid. Good people obtain favour from the Lord, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes," I said, my Sword of Spirits ability activating and generating a silver blade of energy to impale the left shoulder of Drevas.
"No-one can be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted!" Luciel continued, warping behind Drevas and catching him with a roundhouse to the back of his head.
Drevas grunted as he stumbled forward then pivoted around with a wild swing of his arm. Before his fist could reach Luciel's cheek, the Power Angel Statue fired heavenly beams from his eyes and struck Drevas with perfect accuracy. Drevas could do nothing as the beams drug him across the floor, thrashing him against the locked doors.
I warped above Drevas and came down with a Heavenly Impact, but he managed to dodge in time, my fist crashing into the ground and releasing a pulse of healing light. The light skipped through the cracks of the closed doors, reaching Jiahn and the others to heal them while Luciel and I battled against Drevas.
"Reciting from the Book of Aphorisms isn't proving anything! I am still above you pathetic dirt created mongrels!" Drevas bellowed, ripping my blade of light from his shoulder then teleported to me.
I stood up straight on my feet, my back still turned to Drevas then suddenly, Sephora uncoiled from around my body, the White Serpent lunging toward Drevas to bite him. Drevas gasped and halted his attack, luckily avoiding her strike and took flight in the air.
"Just know, you only avoided all of my attacks because I wanted you to. Don't worry, I am still fair and Just, so I'll give you a chance to prove all of your boasts," I said, weakening myself purposely, the Holy Blaze upon my chest dimming down into a Holy Fire.
Drevas began to grow annoyed at my taunts, clenching his fists tightly and growled lowly at me with disdain. "How dare you...how dare you mock an Angel?! Who do you think you are?!"
"I've already answered that, but if you want a different answer...I am the Alpha," I said, turning around and looking up in the air at Drevas.
'The Alpha..? That's one of Genesis's titles...but how is that possible? That woman resembles Genesis more than he does,' Drevas said mentally, his gaze shifting over to Luciel.
"There's a difference between being in essence of and resembling someone. However, you are not wrong in your thoughts about Luciel. She is an incarnation of Genesis and Wisdom, two petals of the same flower, made flesh," I said, responding to Drevas's mental vocations once again.
"Stop doing that! And how is that possible if Genesis is God?" Drevas asked, glaring down at me.
"That is a misconception that was never stated in The Chronicles, or as you've called it The Biblos in your time. Genesis is an extension of God, Yuvah. Genesis is also referred to as The Beginning, The Alpha...a Nexus of God," I began, crossing my arms and closing my eyes.
"Then you have Ragnarok, The End, The Omega...also an Extension or Nexus of God. Finally, me. I am not Yesha, will never claim to be Him. However, Ascea I Am. Ascea is not the Holy Spirit, but the Nexus to Him. So what am I?" I continued, opening my eyes and looking up at Drevas once again.
"I am the Bridge between Heaven and Earth, the reminder of Yesha's finished works. The Perfect Incarnation of Ascea. I am The Nexus. The one prophesized in the Book of Prophecy to bring God's people back to Him...before the True Return of Yesha,"
"I am the Final Lament of the ruined world! The one who will have the entire world preach the Gospels of Yesha, the one who will have every knee bow before your Lord God!" I finished, my Sovereign Butterflies shining brightly with glory and taking formation into the Leo Constellation.
Drevas began to feel a heat wave rush through the tower, the sunlight in the tower amplifying and causing my Iridescent Aura to glow golden. A powerful roar echoed through the tower, shaking the very foundations and causing the tower to rumble.
My hair slowly became a blazing mane, my pupils becoming sharp and focused, my Lion Gauntlets manifesting from the flames surrounding my arms. I stood regal and fearless, the Yaoresh Sigil glowing brightly upon my Gauntlets and amplifying the strength of my might and resolve.
"This is another chance of mercy! This can all end now when you choose to accept the truth! Your downfall is because of your own pride!" I called out, my aura rushing around my body in a frenzy.
"Never! You took away my blessings! Foul God you claim to be! I refuse to bow down or confess you are the Nexus or that Yesha is Lord!" Drevas roared, flying toward me at high speeds and struck my cheek, managing to push me back a step.
I immediately countered with a blazing Lion's Fist to his stomach, causing him to groan in pain then I sent him flying with a second Lion's Fist. Drevas flapped his wings and recovered, unaware of my sudden arrival in front of him. Striking him with a third Lion's Fist, I staggered him and began rushing him with my Lion's Barrage.
Drevas couldn't withstand my barrage, but regathered himself and parried my next strike, landing a toxic palm strike to my midsection then launched me away with a Gaia Beam. I grunted lightly as I slid backwards along the ground, chuckling lightly and dusted myself off.
"What are you smirking about?" Drevas asked, getting into his stance once more.
"You still don't get it do you? What's not clicking in that brain of yours? You were an Angel of God...wait, you said you are a self-exonerated angel, so you are an Angel of the Devil?" I questioned, tilting my head slightly to the side.
"What?" Drevas asked, his skin crawling around with conviction from my words. "How dare you disrespect me?! I served under you and you ripped it all away from me!"
"False, you never lost any of your power when you went to war against your own Provinces. God still have you mercy, you had time to repent and didn't. Even then Ragnarok gave you mercy with a second chance as an Ent, which some don't get," Luciel retorted, shifting her golden scissors into her Scepter.
Drevas glared at Luciel and snarled at her, his eyes glowing with hatred. "What could you possibly ever know, you worthless wrench!"
Drevas flew toward Luciel at high speeds, launching a deadly chop at her neck, but Luciel phased through the attack and cracked him upon his midsection with her Scepter. As he flew backwards, Luciel manifested her wings and flew after Drevas with a series of flourishing attacks.
Drevas blocked and evaded her attacks as best as he could, managing to avoid her purifying strikes and the beams of the Power Angel Statue. He looked at the ground, noticing I was gone then grunted in shock and began searching for me.
"Your focus is elsewhere!" Luciel bellowed, catching him from above with a stomp to his back and sent him crashing to the ground.
Before he could hit the ground, I warped in front of him with a roundhouse that sent him across the room then warped behind him, my back facing him with my arms crossed. My afterimages began striking Drevas repeatedly in rapid succession before I warped toward him with a Heavenly Impact, the holy strike exposing his core.
Drevas grunted as he flew forward, unable to react fast enough as I warped in front of him with another strike. Then again, and again, I warped all around Drevas with Warping Strikes, each attack another successful Lion Fist. I continued with my Warping Lion Barrage, leaving no room for counter.
"Perfect, now it's my turn!" Luciel called out, throwing her scepter toward Drevas from the air.
I warped out of the way, Luciel warping in my place and catching her scepter then landed a critical kick to his cheek, sending him flying backwards. She warped toward him again, striking him with staggering blows repeatedly, leaving him open for my Leo Flame Burst.
Drevas stood in a staggered state, groaning heavily as each of my lion head shaped fireballs struck him one by one, each one detonating into a roaring explosion. Jiahn and the others could see the smoke coming from the top of the ruined roof, all of them putting their faith in me and Luciel.
The smoke settled slowly, Drevas grunting softly as he fell upon one knee. He panted softly and looked up at me and Luciel with frustration etched into his face. "Why..? Why am I falling to two mortals who try to copy the essence of God?!"
I stared at Drevas and closed my eyes, speaking internally with Yuvah for my next steps. I opened my eyes slowly and warped toward Drevas, reaching down and grabbing him by his wings and rose him to his feet. "Woe onto you for you shall be crushed underfoot by the same humans you so detest..."
"It is not I who I'll defeat you, but through me I will have you fell and no more and you shall receive punishment in full once Final Judgement arrives. You've earned another hour from my Father, but heed this...you will not escape punishment. The plauges are set and lest you chance your heart, the Angel shall fly too close to the sun and burn," I finished, striking his core with a Heavenly Impact.
Drevas groaned in pain as my hand struck his core, taking out his Holy Core and exposing his true nature. Drevas roared and groaned heavily as he began mutating into his true form, an abomination of detestable ugliness. His head was had branches growing outward and curling into one another, each arm and wing attaching into a single winged limb on both sides.
He let out a roar as he was exposed as a ravenous demon, thrashing about and taking flight to escape the tower. Luciel wanted to chase after him, but I stopped her and gently held her arm. She looked over at me with a hint of worry, but her Spirits were calmed at my reassuring smile.
"It is finished, his end has been spoken. All he is doing is prolonging the inevitable. The sun is at its zenith for a reason. Go to Therris's Right Claw and I will remain with the others," I said, letting Luciel's arm go.
Luciel nodded and spread her wings then put her hood back over her head, taking flight to check on the next set of students. As she flew in the skies, she noticed Drevas flying toward the Main Tower just as The Chronicles said. In the distance, she could hear the sound of a harmonic screaming guitar, her attention drawn to the third Therris Tower.
Below at the third tower, Hyeon Bae, Reene, Song Jae-in, Ko Su-Mi, and Choko all were inside the tower, messing around with a few musical instruments that were laying around. The instruments included two guitars, a marching drum set, a microphone, keyboards, and a choir stand as the tower's mechanism.
At the tower with them, Su-Yun stood with them knowing they wouldn't be able to complete the lesson without guidance. Su-Yun strummed a few notes on one of the screaming harmonic guitars, grunting softly as they actually screamed when strummed. "Aiishhh!! These things are annoying!"
"Sugoi..!~ It's like these instruments are alive! Ahh, like the Beauty and the Beast! The objects were alive like the candle and the teacup and the teapot," Reene gasped, pressing a note on the keyboard and listening to the out of tune note it played with awe.
Song Jae-in picked up the microphone and tapped the head of it, clearing her throat. "Annyeonghase—"
Song Jae-in let out a startled scream as she heard angelic voices singing the word "Annyeonghaseyo" as she spoke into the microphone. The others turned to look at the choir stand, noticing faint shimmers of angelic beings standing at the stands before fading away again.
"What in the world is this..?" Choko asked with a dry expression, looking at the other girls in confusion.
"Maybe we are supposed to perform a concert of sorts?" Hyeon Bae asked, picking up one of the drumsticks and inspected it to see how the drums would come alive.
"Lucifer once was the Angel of Worship, leading angels into worshipping God. His body was of musical instruments, he was God's perfect angel...but his pride caused his downfall. Now he wishes to ruin the power of worship," A mystical voice said from the conductor stand, catching the attentions of the girls.
Each of the looked at the gracefully male who wore an elegantly tattered blue music director attire, his hair white as snow and his eyes a golden brown color. A gash upon his neck and chest could still be seen upon his Spirit, yet he still smiled and rose his hands to begin his first performance.
He began counting in 4/4 time signature, weaving his hands in rhythmic motions. Suddenly, she sounds of chords began to play with arpeggios playing behind it. The drum sticks began moving on its own playing a calm beat with ghost notes in between, the music bringing a peaceful feeling to the tower.
Reene and Hyeon Bae gasped as they were the only two who could notice the unseen Angels playing each instrument due to their Delirium, they eyes widening as the room lit up. Their gazes returned back to the music director, wondering if he was an angel himself.
Suddenly the man grew weak, his arms falling and his hand rising to touch the wound upon his chest. "Queen IllIlI spared me during the revolt against King Gideon...yet my spirit can never move on. All I wish is to be with my Lord...and move on from this world that has betrayed me before.."
"Who are you?" Ko Su-Mi asked curiously, a hint of uncertainty and fear in her voice.
"Be not afraid...as I am not a malevolent Spirit. I was a Worship Leader in my past, once serving under King Gideon but was killed when I sided with Queen Astrid. All I wish...is to finally pass, but something stops me," The man began, looking at the girls with a smile and bowed toward them.
"My name is Sir Virgil David. You can call me Virgil. I am not related to the King David, but inspired by him and his writings in the Book of Hymns or Psalms as some would call it here on the main parts of Earth," Virgil introduced, noticing each of the girls and Su-Yun calm their nerves.
Reene excitedly rose her hand and bounced up and down. "Mr. Virgil! What are we supposed to do here? I noticed some Angels appear when you began directing."
"Ahh, yes...in my current state, I haven't received my glorified body yet so my Spirit is too weak to keep up with my Angels anymore. However, with the help of you all, maybe I could get my Tower activated again," Virgil explained, looking around at the musical instruments in the hands of the girls.
Su-Yun looked down at her harmonic screaming guitar, taking another soft strum of the guitar and listened to its harmonic scream. "So, we are to worship? I know a few worship songs that my Eomma would sing all the time."
"Yeah, but those songs would not work with your screaming stringed metal pipe, Ms. Sa Nu Rim," Choko sighed, rubbing her ear with frustration from the screams.
"How about we all do a few test songs before we get into the actual worship? You know, like choir practice before the actual service?" Virgil suggested with a smile, waiting for their responses.
Each of the girls glanced at each other, taking a moment to think about their decision. Seeing they had nothing else to lose, they decided to give it a shot with Su-Yun delegating the instruments bases on each girl's Wits, Guts, and Talent Ranks.
Hyeon Bae, with a Wit of A Rank and a Guts and Talent Rank of B+, was set on the drums. Reene, with a Wits and Guts Rank of B+ and Talent Rank of C+, was placed on the supporting guitar. Song Jae-in, with Wits, Guts, and Talent Rank of C, was placed on dancing. Ko Su-Mi and Choko, despite having a Rank of B+, was set on keyboards due to their lack in music expertise.
With the roles set, Su-Yun took the leading stage as their professor as Leading Guitarist and Lead Vocalist due to her being S Rank. The time for practice was set, everyone taking their positions in the tower and preparing the first song.
