The bet itself isn't a big deal, but the stakes are a huge problem.
If the student wins, they don't have to go to school. Is that really a decision a teacher can make at a school? Making such a deal behind the principal's back and the students, if it comes to light, this university might not be able to continue operating domestically.
But it's different for the principal. After all, they are the highest leader of the school, and their authority and level of trust can't be compared to that of a director.
This statement from the principal hit Jin Yicai's weak spot exactly.
Forget it, the questions on the principal's exam paper aren't that easy either, Ye Chen may not be able to pass after all, so let's leave it at that.
With this thought, Jin Yicai fell silent.
Seeing this, the principal snorted coldly and handed the test paper in his hand to Ye Chen.
But Ye Chen didn't take it.
"Ye Chen, take the paper."
Ye Chen seemed to just then come to his senses, blinking his eyes.
