Yun Chu was a bit bewildered; she didn't hear what Gu Xi Jin was saying clearly.
"What did you say?" Yun Chu asked, suppressing the unease in her heart.
Gu Xi Jin looked at her with a rather helpless expression: "I said, you've rejected my confession; you're not going to blacklist me too, right? You don't respond when I talk to you."
"I haven't..."
"I just asked if you were heartbroken over Tan Jincheng, and you didn't respond." Gu Xi Jin smiled. He tried hard to appear calm, to not let her see through anything, but things like this are much easier said than done.
Yun Chu was taken aback, then smiled: "Sorry, I was a bit distracted just now. Um... I admit, I do like him a lot, but not to the point of being heartbroken over it."
"Really? Then what were you distracted by? I thought you were completely down because of him." Gu Xi Jin smiled.
"No, I wasn't." Yun Chu also smiled, "I was just thinking about other things."
