After sending away the nurse, Wei Anning felt a mix of happiness and melancholy. A familiar sound of footsteps reached her ears, and a pair of shiny leather shoes accompanied by neatly pressed pants came into her view.
She followed the line of the pants upwards, her gaze landing on a man's face, and she pulled a slight smile, "You're here?"
"Yes." Leng Youchen sat down beside her, "You just slept for a while, why are you awake now?"
"Maybe it's been too long since I last slept; now when I try to sleep, I can't seem to fall asleep. What about you, why aren't you sleeping?" Wei Anning turned to look at him, noticing the bloodshot eyes and fatigue on his face.
"I was discussing Chenchen's upcoming treatment with the attending doctor. This morning, we gave him the antidote; although he vomited most of it out, some was absorbed, and he's already improving." Leng Youchen looked up at the intensive care unit.
