Inside, Huo Sining and Gu Xu were standing at the door. They probably heard footsteps, so they opened the door.
Seeing Windsor Reed, Huo Sining inside the room smiled slightly, as if she had already anticipated this outcome, and spoke lightly:
"Found the mine, right?"
Windsor Reed was slightly taken aback and instinctively asked, "How did you know?"
Huo Sining laughed, "At this time, Mr. Earl comes to find me in such a hurry. Either the mine has been found, or the bet has failed. Your face can't hide the smile, so the news coming from below must be good news. It certainly can't be bad news, right?"
Windsor Reed chuckled twice, but felt something was off.
Huo Sining's explanation sounded reasonable, but these two people hadn't slept at this hour, and opened the door as soon as they heard his footsteps. It was clear they had been waiting for news all along and hadn't slept at all.
