The night was bewildering.
When Hua Shiyu returned, it was already eleven o'clock.
She pushed open the door, and Zheng Wenhua was still sitting on the sofa waiting for her.
"Haven't you gone to sleep yet?"
She changed her shoes at the entrance, then looked up at Zheng Wenhua.
Zheng Wenhua's expression was somewhat somber, sitting on the sofa without moving, but his face looked especially unpleasant: "Coming back so late? You're reeking of alcohol!"
"Yeah, just met up with some friends, had a few drinks!" Hua Shiyu said quite calmly.
"Have you been seeing Feng Ziyu lately?" Zheng Wenhua asked.
Hua Shiyu turned her head to glance at him, "Only when needed."
Zheng Wenhua's expression softened slightly, and he reached out to grab a jacket from the sofa to drape over Hua Shiyu.
