The Royal Court went into a dead silence once they heard Xu Feng's claim.
They all looked at him in disbelief.
"You're saying you managed to invent something akin to a virus that will infect the monsters?" Aether's expression changed.
"Not me, but a talented alchemist of mine." Xu Feng corrected. Even though he had achieved quite a feat in the herbology profession, he was still a far cry from the Inventor, Jeanette.
"Can I see the product you mentioned?" Aether asked.
"Your Majesty!" The Royal Steward was instantly alerted. How could he, the proud, loyal steward for the emperor, allow him to receive such a dangerous substance?
That would go against the very principle and vow he swore an oath on!
Aether was speechless at the royal steward's reaction. He tried to glance at Olivia for help, only to receive a cold shoulder.
"With all due respect, Your Majesty. If anything happens to you, who would take care of the empire and its people?" She said coolly.
