Side story 1: The New Embers
The first election of the New Ember Kingdom arrived one year after the war.
The three candidates were the First Elder, the Second Elder, and Tyler White.
To most citizens, the result wasn't surprising.
Tyler was the man who defeated the King.
He was the one who brought down the Golden Palace.
He was also responsible for many of the technologies and weapons that helped the Embers win the war.
When the final votes were announced, Tyler won by a large margin and officially became the first President of the New Ember Kingdom.
His first actions after taking office surprised many people.
Instead of focusing on expanding the military, Tyler focused on rebuilding.
The former battlefield sectors were still filled with destruction. Several areas had suffered from nuclear contamination during the war. Tyler immediately allocated resources toward cleaning those regions and making them habitable again.
