--Two Years Later--
Two years passed since everything happened. Jason and Sabrina's encounted and the hunters camp, him learning of the book of time and his father giving him the mission of attending school amongst humans to keep a better eye on the humans.
Originally this mission was to be handled solo but things changed and he got his best friend Amber to tag along. With he was secretly thankful for since if it was not her it would have most likely been Anita.
The years leading up to now had been nothing but trouble for Jason and Amber. The rebels were still not delt with and they're constant presence made things difficult. They seemed to have made it their mission to get Jason out of the picture since he was responsible for single-handedly killing most of them.
One of their methods of involved the kidnapping of Anita which Jason had to deal with personally dispite not really caring what happened to her.
[[Flash-Back 2 Months Ago]]
Walking through the long and dim halls of the mansion hidden in a mountain where all members of his pack lived Jason's eyes were closed in silent contemplation.
Dispite have his eyes closed he was still aware of his surroundings.
He found himself once again thinking of the wound on his abdomen. Although it was now just a large scar he still felt pain from in once in a while. The scar was getting smaller but the rate at which it was doing so seemed to be getting slower.
Reaching his destination he stopped in front of his father's room. Knocking a few times he waited for an answer before he entered.
"You wanted to see me father." He spoke in a bored tone. He had lost most of his respect for his father years ago. The only respect he showed to him was that demanded to be shown to the learder of their pack. And even then it was still little.
"Ah, Jason. I'm glad you're finally here. We have to discuss a matter concerning Anita." Came his father's voice.
Hearing Anita's name Jason groaned in annoyance. He knew that whenever his father wanted to talk about her it only left him with more problems than he wanted.
"If it's another attempt to convince me to court her forget it father. Like I've said many times. It's never gonna happen. Find someone else to entertain her."
"Why do you insist on not even giving her a chance. I'm sure you two would be perfect for each other."
"Because father, she wants a puppy on a leash who she can control. And last I checked I'm no one's dog. I'm a proud wolf of our pack, why would i willing let myself be tied down by someone like her. I want, no need a strong partner. Not someone like her."
"And you're going to find a strong partner in that Amber? What could she offer you."
"While amber is strong father. I've told you she's nothing more than my best friend."
"Look son, I didn't call you hear to argue. Something came for you."
"And what might that be?"
"A letter."
"I'm sure you've already read it so just tell me why I'm hear." Jason was getting annoyed at the fact that he yet another meeting with his father involved him getting told how right Anita was for him. All he wanted was to leave and get some sleep.
"It's about Anita."
Hearing that yet another thing was about her Jason turned to leave the room.
"She's been taken Jason. The rebels took her last night!" His father shouted.
"And what exactly does that have to do with me?" Jason asked not really caring.
"They want you Jason and they're using her to get to you."
"It's kinda her fault for telling everyone that she's my and I qoute "mate". Maybe if she hadn't done that she would still be around kicking.
"Jason enough. I don't care if you like her or not. She's a member of or pack. You have to deal with this." His father said in a matter of fact tone.
"So you want me your son, to walk into an obvious ambush to save her?" Jason's response was cold and lacked any emotions.
"You and I both know that you'll be ok Jason. Just handle this and everything can go back to normal."
"Normal like how you tired to get my best friend killed." Jason snapped. The lack of an answer from his father was all he needed.
"Look father I'll handle it. But I can't guarantee anything." He said walking out the room, leaving his father to his thoughts.
It wasn't that he hated or had anything against his son. Infact all he wanted was the best for Jason and in his mind the best thing for him was a relationship with Anita.
After leaving Jason went straight to his room. He decided that before he did anything he would at least take a bath and get some rest. While in the the shower he came to the realization that he had no information on what to do about the situation. He had just left and forgot to ask what the letter said.
The thought of going back to check was immediately crushed. Since he wasn't in any hurry he didn't find it necessary to do so.
After getting out of the shower he wrapped a towel around his waist and went back to his room. Stopping in front of his bed he closed his eyes and sniffed the air before sighing.
"I know you guys are here. Just come out and get this over with." He said, eyes still closed not even bothered by the apparent fact someone was in his room.
"It's been a while Jason. How've you been." The person spoke still hidden somewhere in the room.
"Not much, just training, killing rebels just normal stuff."Jason answered sarcasticly.
"Really, I heard things have been interesting for you, especially around two years ago. How was that little run in with count dracula's daughter." Asked the person sounding curious.
"Let's cut to the case Sean." Jason said cause the person to chuckle.
"You're so dismissive Jason, just like when we were kids." Sean spoke with amusement.
"If you're just here to talk about the past I'm not really interested, so if that's all I'm sure u can leave the way you came."
"You sure wante to leave so soon. I'd thought you want to know what's happening with that girl that's always gushing over you."
"Not really to be honest. Whatever you guys want to do with her is ur problem. If you kill her before I get there it doesn't really affect me."
"You don't really have a choice Jason, you and I both know that even though you hate her you won't just let her die. If she does that's just more problems for you. So meet me at the old train station in town. We'll talk there."
"When are you guys gonna give up? Aren't you tired of so many of u dying for no reason?"
"We'll give up when you, Jason is dead. You're blood filling our cups and your head decorating our halls." Sean answered his voice filled with hate.
"Last time we met you said something something similar. Yet here I am."
"Just be there tonight." Sean said still not coming from his hiding place. "By the way, tell father I said hi." He added before a shadow darted pass Jason and out his window.
"You're really starting to push you're long brother." Jason said looking out to see a silhouette running into the woods surrounding the mansion.
Dispite not wanting to, Jason knew he had know choice but to save Anita. Her death at this time would only bring more problems for him, problems he hadn't figured out how to deal with yet.
Adding sean his older brother was just another issue he found himself not wanting to deal with. He didn't want to kill his brother or hurt him, but the same couldn't be said for sean.
Sean held many things against his younger brother just as a few of his other siblings did. The biggest one being the fact Jason was stronger dispite being five years younger than him. Sean saw this as a threat to his future as the next leader of their pack.
This lead him to see his brother as an enemy. And the first chance he got he betrayed his father and joined the rebel side with the promise he would be guaranteed to be the next alpha after his father.
Everytime he and Jason crossed paths he would try to kill him but could never succeed. Jason and a unnatural connection with his abilities that made him stronger and Sean couldn't over come that.
So he decided to use anything he could to "try" and even the odds. By kidnapping Anita who is always around Jason he could use her to get to him. That was his plan until he realized that he disliked the beautiful girl that seemed so obsessed with him for some reason.
Unfortunately he was able to find another way to use her. Even though Jason disliked her the chances of him letting her die would be low since if she died it would mean more problems for him.
After Sean left Jason took his getting ready. He knew they wanted him and until he got thier Anita would be fine. He was confident he could handle his brother and whatever backup he brought.
After getting ready Jason tool his time walking at a comfortable pace enjoying the silence the forest of the mountains had at the moment. It was rare for it to be so quite and he enjoyed when it was.
Reaching the town a few miles away from the foot of the mountain he noticed that he how the people there just starting to get in their homes for the night. His pack rarely killed anyone from this place since they had certain connections here that kept things moving smoothly for them.
"Are you just gonna keeping hiding all night cause if that's you're plan I can just leave." Jason said after reaching the old train station where he was to meet sean.
"You're here faster than I thought you would be. Maybe you do care about the girl more than we thought." Sean said stepping from behind a dark corner. Showing for the first time his short black hair and brown eyes. He was a inch shorter than Jason, a fact which he hated.
"Where is she?" Jason asked just wanting this to end.
"Bring her out." Sean shouted which was followed by two more men walking out with Anita tied up with a chain and a gag in her mouth.
"Now. The reason your here. You've been nothing but a torn in our paws for years. In order for us to succeed in winning this civil war you have to be removed from the equation. With you gone so is a big part of the packs strength. We've tried over and over to get rid you but your unnatural strength keeps saving you. Because of that we had to resort to other means. Drop to your knees and give up your life and the we'll let her go. If..." Sean was about to continue but was interrupted by Jason's questioning voice.
"Wait. That's your big plan? To have me lay down like an obedient dog so you can kill me? Do you not see how dumb that sounds. How weak are you? And weak do you think I am! What do you take me for!? What makes you think I would give up my life to save hers just to avoid a few problems. What makes you think I would just take her from you by force? If this is your idea of a joke brother I don't find it funny the only reason why I don't kill you right do is simply because we share the same blood."
Hearing this sean got angrier with each word Jason spoke. His mind clouded by anger he stopped thinking of anything expect killing his brother. His body slowly began to shift, getting a inches taller. His muscles twitched and his skin stretched to accommodate their growth while a layer of black fur started covering his body. His nose and mouth elongated into a snout resembling a dogs or wolf's and his teeth became sharper. His ears took the form of a wolfs and moved on top of his head.
When it was over sean was replaced by a tall wolf like creature standing on his hind legs. With a loud roar that caused a small displacement in the air he dashed for Jason with his new appearance at a surprising speed.
Seeing his brother transform and start running towards him Jason seemed unbothered. As sean got closer and closer he just stood their looking at him. Just as sean got close Jason allowed a predatorial smile to creep on his face. Just as sean was about to grab his head Jason disappeared from his line of site. Before he could process what happened sean was sent flying past where he had stared and into a wall cause it to collapse on him.
The two other men that were there saw what happened and their eyes followed sean to where he was sent crashing. Looking back the saw Jason back were he originally was with his left foot coming back to rest on the ground. Apart from the now serious look on his face he looked the same.
Seeing him the two remaining men followed Sean's lead and shifted in a similar wolf like form. They both chargered at Jason the same time trying to overwhelm him by attacking at the same time. Unfortunately they were weaker than sean and didn't stand a chance. The first one to make contact with Jason was stopped by a gaping hole in his chest. The other seeing this still tried to attack which only ended with getting his head sperated from his body. With no where to go the blood came spraying out some covering Jason. From the smirk on his face, his wild animalistic eyes and blood covered appearance Jason looked like a wild beast playing with it's food.
With them out of his way he walked over t where Anita was.
"If you're gonna keep getting yourself in situations where it's gonna cause me unnecessary problems I might start considering just letting you die." He said starting to untie her. "
"For someone who just got kidnapped you look normal." He said looking at her, he had yet to remove the gag in her mouth or untie her limbs.
Dispite everything everything that happened she was surprisingly calm. As far as he noticed she had been like this the entire time. No screaming, no form of resistance, no nothing. She was just there staring at him like she had just won a contest and he was her prize.
Deciding that he didn't want to know he untied her completely. As soon as her hands were free and the gag gone from her mouth she tried to jump on him for a hug. Knowing she would try this he was prepared and moved out of her way.
"I don't care how grateful you are keep it to yourself. Like I've said over and over I hate it when you hug me." He said walking over to where his brother was covered under a broken wall.
"You have no idea how happy I am that you came." She started.
"Judging by how like nothing happened I'm pretty sure I didn't need to." Jason said not even looking at her.
"Why would you say such a thing I'm sure if you didn't come they would have killed me."
Jason had stopped listening to started moving pieces of rumble while she continued talking in the background. He knew his brother would still be alive even barely. He had kicked him with enough force to knock him unconscious and the wall collapsing on ensured that would be the case.
After a few minutes of taking his time to move enough of the debree to reveal his bothers boby he was done
"Kill him." Anita said walking next to him. The way she said it made it sound like it was the simplest thing in the world.
Deciding that he had enough excitement for one night he walked away heading back home to get some rest with Anita running after him like a loyal pet.
He knew leaving sean alive would be a problem later on but he still hadn't decided if he wanted to kill his own brother.
After all that Jason was able to get Anita back to the mansion without any trouble. Apart from him knocking her out and dragging her back since she started talking and gushing over him non stop.
