"In addition…" Thrandor's voice rose excitedly, "…with Lady Celestia's help, we've completely mastered the construction of Astral City! The first Astral City's main body has been built. With millions of forgemasters' efforts, it will only take three more days to complete the empire's first self-built Astral City. In the future, we can build one such city every seven days!"
"Very good!" Haru was quite satisfied. He flexed his fingers and a ball of Divine Power drilled into Thrandor's body. Next, his body shone as he leveled up from being an intermediate stage Saint to a peak Demigod.
"This is your reward. Keep working hard!" As a peak High God, using Divine Power to raise a mortal's strength wasn't excessive, though he couldn't do it often, as it consumed his Divine Power Source. Moreover, he couldn't directly help mortals become Gods—at most he could raise them to become peak Demigods.
But even becoming a peak Demigod was tantamount to ascending to heaven for someone like Thrandor, and he almost fainted with excitement. After recovering, he knelt again, forehead pressed against the floor, body trembling, "Praise you, Your Majesty the Great Emperor! Thank you for your divine grace!"
"Go and build more such cities as soon as possible!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" Thrandor quickly left the Imperial Palace.
…
After finishing the Empire's internal matters, Haru prepared to teleport to Arboriel again, but then he sensed something.
"What a coincidence!" Haru muttered, then waved his right hand and with a spatial distortion, several figures appeared out of thin air into the room.
The human woman in the lead was Haru's old friend Cecilia, the daughter of Full Moon Chamber of Commerce's president from the Light Empire. Beside her followed Zach, the old Saint Tier mage and two unfamiliar Saints.
"Where is this place? How did we suddenly appear here?" The sudden teleportation terrified Cecilia and the others. Then they noticed Haru on the throne and their pupils shrank in shock.
"Your Majesty?!" Cecilia exclaimed uncontrollably, surprise evident in her voice.
Thanks to her trading relationship with the 'Aetherium Kingdom', her status in the chamber of commerce had risen rapidly. Her siblings could no longer compete and soon, she'd become the new president, taking over from her father. She had achieved all of these thanks to Haru's 'help.'
Haru smiled, "We meet again, Cecilia!"
"It's my honor to meet you!" Cecilia bowed respectfully and exclaimed, "Unbelievable, just now, we were tens of thousands of kilometers away in the wilderness. But in a blink, we came here!"
Then she sensed the Divine Power emanating from Haru and was shocked again. It was so vast that she couldn't even describe it in words. It was even stronger than the dean of an Imperial College she'd met, who was an Intermediate God.
How was this possible? When she had left the 'Aetherium Kingdom', Haru had just become a God. Within just under a week, how had his strength exceeded Intermediate Gods? Incredible!
Cecilia and the old mage beside her were dumbfounded. The other two Saints were also stunned by Haru's Divine Power, and they knelt on the ground while trembling.
Haru changed the subject, "Cecilia must have brought good news!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" Cecilia hurriedly took out a ring, "The goods you handed over have all been sold. There are about 24.07 Billion Power Stones in total."
"Good." Haru gestured, and the ring appeared in his hand. Immediately, the Power Stones were transferred directly to his personal storage ring.
The 24.07 Billion Power Stones… According to the exchange ratio of [One Million Power Stones for One Divine Crystal], this 'only' translated to 24,070 Divine Crystals. He would have been ecstatic at this amount before, but now, he was pretty calm.
Haru looked at Cecilia and said, "From now on, my transaction with your chamber of commerce is over."
"It's over?" Cecilia's expression froze, and she hurriedly said, "Your Majesty, is there something I've done that makes you dissatisfied with our transaction? If so, I'll immediately correct it!"
Her success at the Full Moon Chamber of Commerce was entirely due to Haru's 'support.' Once she lost him as a trading partner, her situation would instantly return to the beginning and possibly worse than that. She didn't want to climb to the mountaintop only to fall before standing firm.
Haru glanced at Cecilia, "The base of your chamber of commerce is in Havenloch?"
"Yes, Your Majesty! Our Chamber of Commerce is very close to Your Majesty's territory, and any transaction is…"
Haru waved to interrupt her, "Go back and tell your father to evacuate Havenloch with your chamber of commerce's supplies in the near future. It's best if you leave the Light Empire. For the sake of our friendship, this is my sincere advice to you."
Hearing Haru's words, Cecilia froze. Then she seemed to realize something and her expressions changed drastically as she was horrified!
