Haru looked at the Golden Titan for a moment and thought about what he would look like in his adult form if he was forty meters tall as an infant
'He might even become a kilometer tall.' He concluded.
He named the titan Cronus, who knelt, one knee on the plaza stones, and declared his allegiance in a voice like distant thunder. When Haru asked about the relationship between the Golden Titans and the Ancient Thunder Titans, Cronus explained without hesitation.
The Golden Titans were descended from the union of Thunder Titans and Golden Beamon, hybrid in origin, their thunder affinity somewhat reduced compared to their ancestors, but equal in everything else. He seemed proud of this and said so directly.
"When I move against Obrys." Haru said, "I expect to see you Golden Titans to handle their Thunder Titan legion."
Cronus's response shook the surrounding air.
…
After the troops were dismissed, he pulled out a huge stack of blueprints, more than 23,000 of them, all of them Troop Summoning Blueprints, accumulated from the Arboriel campaign through billions of kills.
Even if they had an extremely low drop rate, the massive amounts of kills produced tens of thousands of blueprints. He'd expected more and was mildly disappointed, but then reminded himself what 23,000 blueprints actually meant.
Low level blueprints randomly produced ten or more Angels each.
Intermediate level blueprints produced thirty to fifty.
High-level ones produced fifty to a hundred.
Top-level blueprints produced over a hundred.
The 23,000 included all tiers, the majority being low-level, but a meaningful proportion at intermediate and above.
He used all of them at once, and they dissolved into golden light. The light rose and spread across the sky above the Imperial Plaza, thickening into a sea of golden clouds that covered the horizon.
Then the orbs began to emerge, thousands at a time, each batch replacing the last, the count climbing continuously until the clouds finally dimmed and went dark.
He swept the result with his divine senses and found the result to be around five hundred thousand balls!
This number was more than double the Empire's entire existing Angel population in a single use. If his luck had been exceptional, the number would have reached seven or eight hundred thousand, but average luck netting him half a million Holy Spirits was still quite a lot. He found it quite hard to feel much disappointment about that.
The only limitation was that they were all Holy Spirits, newly conceived at their initial level, the weakest form, not adult Angels. If they'd all been adults, his High God Tier count would have probably jumped by hundreds in an afternoon. Instead, they were infants who would need the war with the Light Empire to grow.
He watched the light spheres break open and half a million Angels filled the Imperial Plaza and the space above it, then overflowed it entirely. A tide of cute, delicate, holy-looking things that produced a collective sound somewhere between a choir and a children's school letting out. The effect was genuinely spectacular in a way that had nothing to do with military power and everything to do with sheer density of wings and light.
"Praise you, Lord Almighty. May the Holy Light always be with you." Half a million voices, synchronized.
He stood in the middle of it and admitted to himself that few things had made him happier than this, including his promotion to the Supreme God Tier.
…
Among the Special Angels, tens of thousands of them, the majority were the expected distribution: Angels of Love, Guardian Angels, Paradise Angels, Peace Angels, Zodiac God Angels. He scanned through the counts quickly, confirming the numbers. Then one entry stopped him. There was one Angel of Death!
He called her forward immediately and named her Lilith. This Fourteen-Winged Angel of Death had the growth potential at the early stage of High God Tier. With her, the Fallen Angel expansion program could begin in earnest as the Angels of Death served as the catalyst for mutation during the mass evolution, converting Orthodox Angels into Fallen Ones. Eveline's legion had a path to growth now.
The total Angel population in the Empire finally crossed seven hundred thousand. He dispatched the half-million new arrivals toward Lysandra for assignment, watching them flow out of the plaza in a white tide that took several minutes to fully clear.
The spectacle of the ebb, he decided, was almost as good as the gathering.
…
He was still watching when something in the fabric of space at the edge of his perception shifted.
He turned and raised one hand. The space-time a hundred thousand kilometers out shattered cleanly, the intruder's concealment dissolving before they could react, and a figure appeared in front of him. Beautiful, composed, and wearing an expression that was neither of those things anymore. She looked at him with awe and something very close to disbelief.
"The Space-Time Law?!" She said, "The real one!"
