The air was crisp and carried a faint sweetness. Everything around me seemed larger, more vibrant, and almost glowing with life. Even the animals, though familiar in shape, appeared bigger and... majestic?

I stopped and sat on a rock as I begin to think

I begun to once again observe the surroundings, looking for lower elevation and lush vegetations for possible river or something that can be used as a water source
After a moment of scanning, I noticed a dense patch of greenery further down the hill
Trees with wide, glistening leaves were clustered together, and there was a faint shimmer in the distance
' could it be water? ', I thought as I stand up from a rock and carefully made my way down the hill
As I go down I noticed the quality of the air and tall trees that I never experienced or saw in my past world: Terra
" I mean, Terra was polluted as shit," I muttered, brushing aside a low-hanging branch
" And the forests there were as bald as my uncle "
A faint smirk tugged at my lips
" Tho the pizza and games made it worth living ther- ", I was cut off as pain exploded through my back as my body was flung sideways like a ragdoll
I slammed into a tree with a sickening crack, the impact knocking the wind out of me
" Argg! The fuck was tha-- ", I muttered, trying to get up, only to be struck again, this time hurled further into the dense forest as I hear a mix of roar and screech

The ground trembled as dust and debris flew everywhere. My vision blurred as I tried to focus on the source of the attack.
" Argg!! ", I whimpered
' It hurts!! ', I shouted in my mind as it became hard for me to breathe and moved as I felt my bones break
I begun to calm myself and then turn to look for the one that made me like this
" The fuck is that ", I muttered as I saw a four feet and three meters in length glowing badger, I tried to sit as I use insight on the monster

The Pyroglacius began circling me, heat waves distorting the air around it. I tried to think of a plan, but panic threatened to cloud my judgment
' No! Calm down! THINK! '
I begun to think of a plan or solutions to my situation but I stop as I sense the surroundings getting hotter and saw the surrounding mana being attracted to the badger's mouth
' It's charging up ', I realized
Seeing it's mouth glowing, I realized what it's doing and start to take action. I begin manipulating the mana to absorb the heat only in the area in front of me to create a ball of contain heat in my hands mimicking what it's action while guiding my mana to the front to attempt creating a sturdy ice structure using my heat affinity
but I stopped as I notice the mana consumption of my action and on how it failed again and again in creating a sturdy ice structure that I want and only freezing the ground with thin sheet of ice
' is the moisture the problem? I really need to experiment with this one ', I thought as I failed to guide the ice into atleast a tall structure
Then I sense the mana gathering in the badger's mouth slowing as the air around it's mouth disoriented from the heat. I look in my hands as I observe the ball of heat being contained by my mana
" this won't do a shit ", I muttered
' but this is all I need '
I focused on the ball of heat in my hands as I coated it with more mana making it glow brighter as I focus on the speed and flow gathering in the badger's mouth
' it's time ', I thought as I released the heat in my hand aiming at its mouth
The badger sensing the treat attempt to fire it's heat magic prematurely but
3rd POV
BOOM!
A deafening explosion rocked the forest, sending waves of heat rippling outward. The grass around us charred black, though oddly, the flames didn't spread
" Fuck ", Ace muttered as he crawled only with his hands wanting to seek for a place to hide or somewhere safe
" SKREEEAAAARRGH!! "
As the smoke clears a badger shows without wounds and with it's body blazing with heat and fire, as it look at the surroundings looking for the prey that came to it's territory
' I'm lucky to escape that ', Ace thought as it look to the badger while hiding in big boulders and tall grass which is not a good idea as his still on open but he is left with no choice
He saw the badger stand as it sniffed the air, its blazing body casting flickering shadows around the scorched clearing.
' That thing is like a walking inferno... and it's pissed! why is it even pissed?!! ', Ace thought as he tried to remember the behavior of his planets badger for answers
" SKREEAAARRRGH "
The badger roared again, flames licking at the ground as its molten eyes scanned the area and stoping at the direction of the boulders and grass
' Shit! ', Ace shouted on his mind as he saw the badger looking at his direction
' Think!!!! '
Then he have a realization, he look at the boulders in his surroundings and he muttered

As he thought yes the surrounding boulders vanished as two slots was then occupied by 7 boulders the size of a car
The badger slowed down as it was shock by the rocks disappearance but then continued and with even more speed as flames burst from its back
' I only have one chance if didn't get it right then I'm done ', Ace thought as he created small concentration of heat to make it more annoyed and angry
" SKREEEEAAAAARRRGH!!! "
The badger roar as it increase its speed even more with the fire in it's back blazing even more marking it's path with it's paw's a burned mark

" two... Fuck it you ", Ace shouted as he released all the boulders in front of him creating a stack of large boulders
The badger with it's speed attempted to stop or jump but failed because of it's distance so at the last second it tried to twist it's body to change direction
The ground shook and thunderous crash erupted as the badger smashed into the boulders and with it is it's roars of pain as some boulders fly and split from the impact
Ace POV
CRASH!
The ground shook as the badger let out a pained roar. Rocks shattered on impact, and the creature tumbled to the ground, its legs twisted at unnatural angles.
I duck as I saw parts of the boulders fly everywhere
Then I looked at the badger that's whimpering on the ground with fire still blazing on its back while looking at me ready to attack
" Just like what the lumberjacks says, you reap what you saw ", I said I tried to stand steadily to go away from the area
I turned away from the injured creature, intent on putting as much distance between us as possible
' if fighting a badger is already this tough then I need to get out of here ', I thought as I observe the area and the badger as it attempt to stand with it's now broken legs
' I need to hurry, with all those noises we made it'll be a miracle if it didn't attract other predators attention '
Then I noticed
" It's too... quite ", I muttered as i saw the badger also noticing this oddity
