Sylvaniah left the courthouse shortly before noon, stepping into the waiting luxury sedan. The moment she settled against the leather seat and closed the door, she immediately turned toward her talent manager.
"Take me to St. Aurelius Medical Center," Sylvaniah instructed, her tone leave no room for hesitation.
Melissa looked at her with concern in her eyes. "Sylvaniah, you have barely slept two hours since yesterday's attack."
"I am well aware of that," Sylvaniah replied softly, looking down at her hands.
"The head doctor already confirmed that the guard is in stable condition," Melissa reasoned gently. "You can visit him tomorrow after you rest."
"I still need to see him with my own eyes today," Sylvaniah insisted, her hazel eyes holding Melissa's gaze. "He nearly lost his life protecting me, Melissa."
