It was Sunday, a pretty normal day for me. I sat on my bed playing an RPG on my play station while eating cookies.
"Urgh, this game's really hard." I said throwing the console on my bed as the TV screen displayed a "You're dead"
*Dammit, I've been trying to figure out the problem but I've got nothing.* I thought rolling on my bed.
"Big bro. I need your help with a homework." Kaede said walking into my bedroom.
"Hmm, you finally need my help." I said sitting up as she sat on my bed.
"It's a math question, it's under substitution." She said showing me her text book.
"Oh, isn't that easy, for this one you'll…"
"Thanks." She said after we went through the homework.
"You're welcome." I said picking up the console.
"Brother." Kaede called.
"Hmm?" I asked restarting the game from the last checkpoint.
"Never mind." She said walking out of my room
*Hmm?*
"Hey, Izumi-San." Yusuke called running towards me.
"Did you do your math assignment?" He asked putting his hand around my shoulder.
"Why didn't you do yours?" I asked as he smiled.
"I didn't say anything about not doing it." He said scratching his head.
"Then what?"
"Can you excuse me with…"
"No."
"You didn't even let me speak."
"It's still a no." I said.
"Come on Izumi, I'll buy you lunch." He said shaking me. "I don't need it, and hey stop shaking me so violently."
"Aw, come on." He pleaded.
"Okay, okay, Jeez." I said as we walked into the class.
"Thanks a lot man." He said as we sat down.
It was still few minutes to 8 so the homeroom teacher wasn't in class.
"Hey." I called Yusuke.
"Hmm?"
"Have you played that new RPG, Return to Hectorvia?" I asked as his face beamed.
"Yes, I planned on asking you that." He said smiling.
"Um…"
"It's so cool, I reached level 50 the day I bought it."
"Um…" I called again as he kept talking.
*Ah, we aren't going anywhere I'm this conversation.* I thought, my face on my palm.
"And…"
"Good morning kids." The homeroom teacher greeted walking into the class.
*Talking to him proved futile.* I thought smiling at my SD.
"Let's go for gym class Izumi." Yusuke said standing up.
*Gym again, how many days do we do gym in a week?* I thought standing.
"Let's go change fast before we fall into trouble with Sensei." He said as we walked to the changing room hurriedly.
"Whoa, Whoa, it's Kaede-chan." Yusuke said as we walked past the science room.
I looked into the room and saw her looking at the teacher as he taught.
*She really is attentive in class.* I thought smiling, still looking at her.
"Siscon."
"Huh?"
"You've been staring at her for a while now." Yusuke said as I pushed him forward.
"Let's get going. And am not a siscon."
"Siscon." He said laughing.
"Hey, cut that out." I said looking around.
Some girls kept glaring at me cause of the slight misunderstanding.
*It's not what you think 🥲.* I thought as he kept laughing.
"Izumi-San is a Siscon." He said again.
"Cut it out, Yusuke-kun." I said as someone walked past me.
I looked up and saw her blonde long hair. She looked back at me with a displeased look on her face, she looked irritated.
*Huh?* I thought staring at her as she walked out with her friends.
"Um, Izumi-San?"
"It's nothing, let's get going. " I said dragging him with me.
*I really don't want any more girls to have the wrong idea about me😭.* I thought as a ball came flying right in my face.
"Hey, Kaneko-san, watch out!!!" A guy said as I moved back a bit, clasped my hands together before hitting the ball to the next side of the net.
*Th-that was close. Phew, I would have made a mockery of myself again.* I thought sitting on the floor.
*Hmm? It's suddenly so quiet.* I thought looking at the volleyball court.
Everyone stared at me and back to someone in the court.
"Hey!! Kaneko-san, hurry up and take her to the nurse's office!" The gym instructor said as I jumped from where I sat and ran to the person other people were looking at.
"Am sorry I—"
*Crap!!! What did I ever do wrong? She's bleeding seriously.* I thought.
"I-i-i I'm sorry, let's g-go to the infirmary." I said trying to figure out how I will support her.
"Sensei, we'll take her to the office on our own." One of her friends said.
"Okay, make sure you get back." He said as the girl took her out.
*Crap, crap. What do I do now?* I thought looking at the floor.
There were drops of blood where she stood earlier.
*C-c-crap, t-this is b-bad.* I thought as I felt others staring daggers at me.
*Mommy, I wanna go home😭* I thought keeping my eyes down.
