Chapter 1607
The clean and warm little room soon filled with the aroma of food.
Xia Ruqing didn't make anything complicated, just some simple home-cooked dishes.
Some beef cubes, a cold wood ear salad, some peanuts, and a pot of fragrant rice.
When the dishes were placed on the table, Zhao Junyao's eyes lit up.
"Didn't you say we were just going to have a simple soup and rice?" Yet she's prepared so much, this woman is really all talk.
Xia Ruqing gave him a sideways glance.
"You don't have to eat if you don't want to!"
Zhao Junyao quickly grabbed his empty bowl.
"I want to eat, I really do!"
For some reason, these dishes were extremely tempting, even more delicious than those served at the large villa.
It was strange, considering famous chefs were hired there!
He ended up eating two large bowls of plain rice.
All the dishes were devoured, and he still felt unsatisfied.
"So good!"
"Is there more?"
Xia Ruqing was a bit shocked.
