After Miaomiao was placed on the bed, Xiaocheng didn't follow up onto it.
Xiaocheng's keen ears picked up the sound of a car driving into the yard outside, swiftly realizing that Dad might be back, so without notifying Miaomiao, he quickly ran out.
Sure enough, Dad had returned.
"Dad! Why did you come back so early today?" Xiaocheng was always very excited when Yan Ye just got home.
But after five minutes of excitement, Xiaocheng would find that Dad actually takes up quite a bit of space at home.
Yan Ye came home early because Lian Xinying was pregnant and he wanted to spend more time with her.
