Thinking of this and that, she threw a piece of lettuce into Zhan Lan's bowl.
"Since you don't like meat, you should eat more vegetables! Vegetables are good for you." Ji Nian's words had a sarcastic tone that instantly ignited Zhan Lan.
Who said he didn't like meat?
Wasn't she the one saying that he had to treat her well for her to like him?
Is she getting cocky just because he's being nice to her? Did her intelligence just go offline?
"I like meat too." Zhan Lan accepted her veggies but also picked a piece of meat for himself.
Ji Nian was a bit puzzled inside.
If he likes meat, why is he giving me meat?
Something's up, a little sneaky!
What happened next left Zhan Lan both amused and at a loss for words.
After hearing Zhan Lan say he liked meat, Ji Nian, at lightning speed, started scooping out the meat from the veggie bowl and into her own… this was turning into a food grab contest with Zhan Lan.
Zhan Lan noticed but didn't stop her.
