If Ji Nian hadn't forced him like this, he probably wouldn't have drunk.
After Zhan Lan drank the water, Ji Nian finished it in one gulp and thanked the two elderly people once again.
Actually, Zhan Lan knew the two elderly people meant well, and that Ji Nian's actions were commendable, but having been pampered since childhood, he was very averse to dirty things.
Before they drank the water, the two elderly people brought out two chairs for them to sit.
Ji Nian plopped down right away, while Zhan Lan stood proudly there...
Ji Nian pulled him forcefully: "What are you doing? It's good enough that Grandma and Grandpa aren't looking down on us, they gave us water to drink, and lent us their phone... Make sure you pay them the phone fee later!"
"Got it." Zhan Lan was also very grateful to the elderly couple.
If he hadn't encountered them, he wouldn't have been able to successfully report to the police.
