"Good news?"
Su Yunjin picked up a piece of candy and tilted her head to look at Mrs. Shen, "Mother, what good news do you have to tell me?" Su Yunjin spoke with her mouth full of candy, making her speech a bit unclear.
Mrs. Shen was smiling so broadly she couldn't close her mouth.
"Yunjin, your second sister is pregnant." Mrs. Shen had been waiting for Su Ningxiu to get pregnant for more than half a year, and now that she finally was, Mrs. Shen was overjoyed.
Su Yunjin was momentarily stunned before she reacted, "Mother, what? Did you say second sister is pregnant? When did this happen? Why didn't second sister tell me?" Su Yunjin had seen Su Ningxiu just a couple of days ago, and Ningxiu hadn't mentioned anything about being pregnant.
The relationship between Su Ningxiu and her siblings wasn't bad, so normally, if Ningxiu was pregnant, she certainly wouldn't keep it a secret.
Su Yunjin felt it was odd.
