Before they knew it, it was already late.
The fright and chaos of the night had worn Tian Nan out; she yawned and stretched lazily. "Brother Chenyang, I'm a little sleepy."
Ning Chenyang glanced at the time on his phone; it was already close to midnight.
He roughly calculated that even if Uncle Tian rushed to Spring City overnight, it would still take six or seven hours; by the time he arrived, dawn would be breaking.
"If you're sleepy then go to sleep. Get some good rest. When it's too bright I'll wake you up." Ning Chenyang raised his hand and rubbed the top of her head.
"What about you?" Tian Nan stared at him with her big dark eyes.'
"Of course I'm going to rest too." Ning Chenyang stood up with a smile and pointed at the sofa. "I'll sleep over there."
"Don't." Tian Nan suddenly reached out and wrapped her arm around his. "Brother Chenyang, you sleep here too, okay?"
"One bed?" He scratched his head.
