The town was completely dark. As this was an old time before electricity, lamps would be used and because this world was similar to Japan's old era. They would have paper lamps in which a candle is lit and paper is surrounding it and lighting everything. Not everyone can afford to keep lamps outside the doors as well. Only patrolmen, ordered to keep watch to protect normal people against thieves or other normal threats, could be seen walking in the night with a lamp. As tonight was a red moon, there was light but the scenery was scary and the atmosphere was that of a horror movie.
Two patrolmen were patrolling an area of the town.
1st patrolman: Hey, isn't tonight scary.
2nd: What are you saying? We do this so many times and you are still scared.
1st patrolman: My mother used to tell me that the night of the red moon is the night of evil. Evil spirits, demons, youkai all of them walk freely.
2nd: Shut up before I smack you.

Suddenly they hear a loud scary laugh but it is a little far away.
1st: What was that?

The 1st patrolman dragged the other towards the place he thinks he heard the sound from. He went towards a butcher's shop that is at the end of the line of shops. Behind it is some open space where the owner keeps remainder and parts that didn't sell during the day on the grounds so that he can throw these or bury them the next day. As they got closer they saw a silhouette standing over a big hole in which all the unsold meat was placed and the hole was on fire. The fire was coming out of the hole and the figure was standing just far enough that you can't see his face.
1st: WH…WHO ARE YOU? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
2nd: STOP RIGHT THERE!
As the silhouette turned towards them the light of the fire in the burning hole and their lamps lit up a part of the face and what they saw was the demon's face. A smile stretching to the ears, mouth open with tongue dangling and saliva dripping. A crazy expression and crazy eyes.
1st: D..DEMON!!! YOKAI!!!
2nd: DON'T EAT ME!!! RUNNNNN!
Both of them were extremely scared, turned around and ran away.
Sasuke(with the same demon expression): HAHAHAHAAAAA, thinking of what I am about to do, I am not offended even if people call me that. HA HA HA….But still, why did I decide to burn this meat when it is spoiled? Was I thinking of eating it? Hmm…I forgot. NO! I can use this but I shouldn't let it burn more.
He then did some hand signs and the fire was extinguished. The smell of Bar.B.Q wafted everywhere.
Sasuke(normal face): Hmm…There was no seasoning. Can I still feed this to fanatics? I mean They are murdering fanatics so feeding them spoiled meat….Hmm….I think I can feed them poison and it will still bring happiness and peace in the world. He just summoned some toads and assigned some tasks to them and he was sensing what was happening.
Sasuke: Heh, Heh, Heh, most of the shinobis from the non-important clans are now knocked out by the special gas released by Katsuki and sealed in my gourd toad. Only the important ones remain.

40 mins after that even the important ones were knocked out and sealed in the gourd toad.
Sasuke: Heh, Heh, Heh. Even though the shinobis sent by Hikari were sleeping by taking turns so that 1 is always awake and guarding, Katsuki your colorless, tasteless, odorless, knockout gas is amazing. You knocked them out, even the bugs that were there to keep watch are sleeping.
Katsuki(purple poison toad): WHAT THE FUCK! You summoned me in the middle of the night. You better be grateful that I am merciful otherwise I would have melted you with my poison.
Sasuke: Come on, don't be angry. I will feed you something amazing later.

She saw a wide gap between their skills even though she trained hard for the last 10 years. During that battle, Sasuke allowed her and Emi to retreat by threatening that he would kill others who would stay. She did retreat but that resulted in her being branded a coward and useless in the clan. She was sent on the most dangerous missions for several months until she earned the trust of her clan again. But during those missions she lost many people close to her and now she hates Sasuke to the bone. Also, Sasuke has become a nightmare for her so when she was assigned to this mission, she decided that if given the chance then she would kill him and sever their karmic connection. She was confident that now she was strong enough to even fight Sasuke. She was sleeping in her room and now she just woke up.
Aiko: Wha..What? Where am I?
She used her right hand to hold her head as there was pain and sluggishness. She found neatly folded paper near her.
