"Zairon! What a surprise," Professor Zaiden greeted his sibling. He was accompanied by a woman carrying a child. They turned to us, and my gaze first landed on the child. How is he related to the child? Why do they look alike, even in their eyes?
"Tss, I just need some snacks. Don't mind us," he remarked to Professor Zaiden with a touch of sarcasm. His gaze briefly flickered towards me before settling back on Prof. "Oh, are you dating?" he inquired bluntly, causing me to gasp softly in surprise.
"No, we ran into each other, and I didn't have much to buy, so I just added them to Laurenestine's cart. How about you, why are you with your family?" he inquired.
My eyes widened. Family? Does he have a wife?
"Not your concern. I just accompanied them here," he casually replied while the child played with his hair. The woman with him didn't even acknowledge us and left without a word. Is that the kind of woman he likes, rude? They were still talking, but she left without a goodbye.
