(LEO POV)

What Leo had just done was a little more complicated than just flashing threatening lights and giving off some pressure. Seeing Snivy's emotions change to wonder and determination from her initial distrust proved he was moving in the right direction.

Determined to capitalize on the moment, Leo took it a step further by invoking part of his Origin. Specifically, the Fundamental Origin of Time.

Leo's aura disappeared, Snivy snapping out of her stupor from the sudden loss of euphoria. She watched Leo intently as the sound of clanging chains abruptly intensified before disappearing as well. Suddenly, Snivy saw an indistinct image forming in the air behind Leo.

She could barely make out an image, platinum light making the already indistinct image blurry. She thought she saw a river. Radiating a pure silver light that reminded her of stars. It had no beginning or end, yet paradoxically; she was sure the water all flowed in one direction.

She soon noticed a giant hand, cosmic in proportions floating above the river. The water seemed to follow the direction of the hand. Snivy tried to see more, straining her eyes against the increasingly brilliant light.

She could see the hand was holding some sort of item. It shone so brightly that she had to avert her gaze as soon as she registered the things existence.

Right before the radiance forced her eyes away, she saw that the hand was attached to some being of unimaginable size, dwarfing everything she thought possible.

Snivy finally cried out in pain, clutching her eyes that had begun to burn with pain. Leo was surprised to hear her grunt in pain, hastily dismissing his Origin projection and hurrying over to the kneeling Snivy.

The pressure disappeared, lights returning to normal and the sound of clanking chains fading away quickly, all signs seemingly gone in the few seconds Leo spent moving to Snivy's side.

The only sign of anything strange having occured was the unusually active TE in the surroundings. "Damn Princess, I'm sorry I didn't expect you to be able to use my projection to see directly into the Origin Realm."

Leo explained as a potion specially mixed by his mother appeared in his hand as a spatial rune on the back of his hand briefly glowed.

While not often mentioned, Leo's mom was an expert in health care. It did not matter about the species, sentience level, or whether they were biological or not. If they could be injured, she could heal it.

Naturally, she was equally versed in taking life, having earned her reputation through blood and violence rather than her healing ability, at least according to Leo's Dad.

None of that went through Leo's head though as he tossed the durable bottle to the ground near Snivy. He gingerly cradled her small form to his chest.

Internally he was beating himself up for being so shortsighted. Obviously a pokemon with such high soul resonance with him would be able to piggyback off his connection.

Snivy twitched in pain, the foliage around them writhing in response. Noticing this, Leo pushed all other thoughts away to focus on healing Snivy.

"Hey Princess, everything is going to be ok. I just need you to take this potion before too much damage is done. Don't worry though, my mom made these potions for me when I was younger and used to push too deep into the Origin Realm, frequently."

Snivy took in Leo's words through the pain, a strange sense of comfort washing over her as she lay in his warm embrace.

Her own incredible willpower had been polished from the constant torment of the crimson energy of distortion, helping her combat the sudden assault on her eyes. When coupled with Leo's calming presence, Snivy found herself quickly adapting to the burning feeling.

Now that she had calmed from the suddenness of the pain, it felt more like a low tier burn condition. She had been through worse pain just playing with her Charmander neighbor.

Leo himself was far less calm, though his heart did stop pounding so hard when he felt Snivy begin to calm down in his arms. He ignored the distortion wounds dirtying his clothes, focused on getting Snivy to take the medicine.

He tilted snivy so her face lying right under his chin, letting her feel his heartbeat in hopes of giving her something else to focus on. "Alright Princess, I need you to open up, the potion might taste bitter, but I assure you it works wonders."

Leo felt a small pang of sympathy when he spoke. He knew from firsthand experience that the taste of the potion was a cruel torment in itself. It barely served as a better result than eternal pain from constantly burning eyes.

Snivy still clutched her eyes in pain, but she managed to stop gritting her teeth long enough to swallow a mouthful of the bitter potion. She nearly sprang out of Leo's arms with a face full of disgust as soon as she finished swallowing.

Leo could relate; his mom had insidiously made his potions have a delayed taste effect. It only showed up when the potion made its way to your stomach to prevent him from just reversing the substance out of himself.

He hadn't been that good at minor time manipulations yet, so he was forced to suffer double every time he went too far in the Origin Realm. Now, he watched Snivy twist and turn, finally jumping out of his arms and spitting on the ground repeatedly.

She then turned a venomous glare onto him, only to realize that all her pain was gone. Her eyes felt great. In fact, her entire body felt better than she could ever remember feeling.

She looked over her body and was surprised to discover that even the crimson distortion energy seemed to be much calmer and easier to control than normal. Leo noticed her confused expression and burst into laughter.

"I should have mentioned that my mom's potions are quite special. The taste leaves much to be desired, but the effects of her medicine are second to none." Leo spoke with a sense of amusement, clearly used to such reactions.

Snivy looked at the human, no, at Leo who sat on the ground covered in red streaks. He was visibly more relaxed; his posture and tone entirely at ease. Snivy stomped over to him, her expression stormy yet unreadable.

Leo stopped laughing, his gaze and body language still relaxed yet focused. He watched Snivy stop exactly 3 steps away from him. She looked him directly in the eye, slowly lowering her body till she was bowing at a 90-degree angle.

Leo slowly rose to his feet, his clothes unwinding all the damage and stains as he did. He stared back at Snivy. Slowly, he reached up and gently removed his shades.

Flaming crowns of platinum met innocent yet ancient draconic irises. After a moment that seemed to last for an eternity, Leo smiled warmly. "I guess that means we're partners from now on. Welcome to the family Princess."

Snivy straightened up, nodding her head with a genuine smile spreading across her face. Leo knelt, gesturing Princess closer.

She floated over, having regained her control over nature and still refusing to be confined to the ground. A dragon's pride could not be tarnished after all.

She was surprised to find herself pulled into another hug, though she quickly accepted. After a few moments, Leo pulled away as a small light flashed on the back of his hand. Leo held up the grey marble now in his hand to Princess.

She inspected the small thing while wrapping her body around his torso. Being part plant part draconic creature, snivy as a species, were capable of growing and shrinking their bodies to various degrees.

Princess was even more gifted in this than others, allowing her to easily shift sizes to meet her needs. In this case, being closer to her trainer. Once comfortable, she returned her attention to Leo.

Waiting for her to finish, Leo pointed to the orb, explaining his plan for her. "So Princess, to perfectly resolve your issue, we will need to do a couple of things.

First and foremost, you need to channel every bit of Distortion World energy you have into this orb. When you are done with that we can move onto the next step."

Leo spoke confidently, certain that things would turn out even better than he originally thought. Princess nodded, though her eyes gazed doubtfully at the dim orb. It didn't appear to be capable of surviving a strong wind, let alone Distortion energy.

Noticing her look, Leo laughed again. "It might not look like it, but this is a dimensional seed. When you fill it with your energy I will help you to establish it as your personal dimension." Leo spoke; excitement evident.

Snivy could barely believe her eyes and ears. 'Was her trainer seriously planning to custom build a dimension for her???' Snivy's thoughts must have been obvious because Leo suddenly spoke up to comfort her.

"There's no need to think this is excessive. Where I come from, every person has at least one dimension before they reach 15. On top of that, your talents are too volatile for me to efficiently combine them even with my blood as the primer."

Leo's explanation surprised Snivy, making her question her understanding of reality. Were private dimensions really something so common that every teen and above could have one?

Snivy didn't know, but after all the impossible events she had just experienced, she couldn't confidently say what was possible anymore. Thinking of impossible events made Snivy remember something critical.

She could barely control the Distortion energy in her body. If not for her strong lineage and affinity, combined with her incredible vitality she would have already been killed by the rampant Distortion energy.

It would be a miracle if she managed to trap the energy inside her body, forget about trying to control it. She sent her concerns over to her trainer through the mental link that automatically formed when she accepted Leo as her trainer.

Leo frowned down at her for a moment, making Snivy's heart clench unexpectedly. 'He's not disappointed in me, right? I will find a way to control the energy trainer so keep smiling and love me, please.'

The thoughts were so surprising, she froze. Snivy was internally shocked, never in her life had she ever felt so afraid to lose something or someone. Snivy finally began to realize the implications of her choice.

She now had someone who meant more to her than the world, and as crazy as that might sound Snivy could accept that. She had grown up hearing stories from older pokemon about the moment they first met their trainers.

Many had shared similar sentiments and emotions upon officially becoming partners with their trainers. Even so, Snivy was a little shaken that Leo already meant so much to her.

Pushing those thoughts away, Snivy turned her head back only to see Leo looking at her in concern. "Are you ok Princess?" He asked as Snivy felt her face start burning in embarrassment.

She quickly nodded her head to signal she was paying attention. "You're sure? I was calling your name for a few seconds, but you were totally zoned out. If you want to wait until you are feeling a bit more settled, that's fine for me.

I want you to know that I meant it when I said we are family. I won't force you to do anything you're uncomfortable with." Leo was concerned that Snivy's upbringing so far had made her harder on herself than she needed to be.

"I will help you guide the energy into the seed; all you need to focus on is maintaining your willpower while the process completes. If there's anything else you're concerned about, let me know. I promise we can fix it together."

Leo was determined to make sure that all his family had ample support from him. His mom had drilled the importance of family unity into his head since he was born, literally.

That training helped him now, as he found himself comforting a dragon princess with confidence issues while he had 2 legends making a mess inside his Soul Space.

Saphira and Kitsfrost had been fighting ever since they were forced into Leo's Soul Space when Giratina showed up. It was only now, sensing Leo's conflicted emotions concerning their newest sister, that the 2 grudgingly agreed to a truce.

Before Leo could say anything, a platinum whirlpool flashed into existence for a moment, depositing one of the unruly legends to his side. Snivy's eyes snapped to the new presence.

She had been vaguely aware of the 2, but she sensed the difference between them the moment Kitsfrost appeared. She felt...different. It was something hard to explain, but in that moment, she felt an intense urge she couldn't explain.
