Trust was such a dangerous word. It meant relinquishing control and handing it over to someone else, but as muffled laughter escaped the Omega next to him, it felt less daunting.
"We're the ones getting married," Angelo was the one to reply to the officiant, taking Nikolai's wrist to lead them over. "I apologize for the trouble." He politely excused whatever crimes had been committed to bring the officiant here.
The mousy Beta hastily waved a hand, "It's no problem." He reassured, clutching his binder to his chest. He had been worried just now, that the Omega was here against his will, but it was clear that everything was just fine.
"Would you like to begin now?" He straightened his shoulders to ask.
Angelo turned to Nikolai, reminded of something important. "We didn't get rings." He murmured. And he didn't even bring the rings Nikolai had gotten for him.
Sure, they had knives hidden in them, but they would do as makeshift wedding rings until they could get proper ones.
