A smile appeared on Lin Moyu's face; finally, they were together again.
Ning Yiyi and the others didn't actually throw themselves into his arms they knew Lin Moyu was handling something very important and were sensible enough not to disturb him.
By now, Lin Mohan's battle with the Lotus Sovereign's consciousness had reached its final stage, soon about to be decided.
From Lin Moyu's perspective, the outcome had been inevitable from the beginning.

The last essence of this ruined realm was divided up once again.
With a piercing, tragic scream, the Lotus Sovereign's consciousness was utterly destroyed. His countless years of scheming ended in nothing.
Chaos Gem calmly remarked, "All the Supremes are dead, and this one is no exception though he probably died the most miserably of them all."
Lin Moyu chuckled, "If there's one precedent, there might be more. Supremes never want to die; maybe there are more barely surviving out there.
It's not just Supremes even the old Heavenly Lords of the Great World tried every way to live on.
In the domain, the eternal beings all have special ways to survive; for Supremes, even moreso."
Chaos Gem was silent Lin Moyu was likely right, maybe some Supremes were still clinging to life.
But even if there are any left, most are half dead, barely scraping by.
With Lotus Sovereign's consciousness broken, Lin Mohan's sword intent soared, piercing the core. Whatever the sword intent touched, Lotus Sovereign's soul power was assimilated.

But still, some caution was needed Lin Moyu quickly set up a formation, flooding it with Worldburning Fire but leaving the center open.

On command, Lin Mohan dove into the formation and sat at its heart.
On the Calamity Scepter, Elemental Gems flashed, illuminating Lin Mohan and forming a layer of light around her.
Her sword intent continued absorbing Lotus Sovereign's power, now with two extra steps:
First, it would be refined by Worldburning Fire to remove impurities and make it pure.
Second, the Elemental Gems since soul power is an element would further refine the purified soul force, making it even purer.
No matter what tricks Lotus Sovereign had left, they would be dissolved.
If even this didn't work, Lin Moyu had no other solutions and could only admit defeat.
He turned to Purple Star Sovereign. "Would you like a chance at this, as well?"
Purple Star Sovereign had arrived and was watching Lin Mohan closely.
With her insight, she saw exactly what Lin Mohan was doing and succeeding at.
She realized Lin Moyu hadn't been truthful before; Lin Mohan's chance to break through was far better than one percent.
Now, Lin Mohan was likely to break into the Sovereign realm, leaping from quasi Sovereign to that unthinkable level.
Her eyes brimmed with envy and a trace of jealousy but she couldn't steal Lin Mohan's achievement.
Lin Mohan's sword, Lin Moyu's strength, and the Calamity Scepter itself were not things she could face lightly; even in the Chaos Wilds, she wouldn't rush in.
Purple Star Sovereign quietly said, "This is Sword Sovereign's opportunity I don't have the fortune to receive it."
Lin Moyu smiled, "It's best if you see it that way. Everyone has their own fate, and Sister's breakthrough is good news for you all too, isn't it?"
Purple Star Sovereign made no reply it was good news, true, but it was still better to have it herself. After Lin Mohan's breakthrough, could she be sure they'd still be allies? Not easy to say.
In any case, she had no choice now and could only trust Lin Moyu.

Lin Mohan was stabilized; with Lotus Sovereign gone, the monsters lost their will to fight and scattered.
Lin Moyu turned the rest of the work over to Chaos Gem and finally had time to approach Ning Yiyi and the others.
Eight beautiful eyes overflowed with longing; their separation had gone on too long.
Advancing their realms and strengthening their Dao hearts had forced them to suppress inner excitement.
But their eyes grew moist a deep emotion building up.
Ning Yiyi quietly said, "Missed you."
Two words with too much meaning nothing more had to be said.
Lin Moyu replied, "I missed you as well, so I came for you as soon as possible. Come home with me, to our real home."
Ning Yiyi nodded, "Wherever you are, that is home."
The other girls nodded too; wherever Lin Moyu was, home was there.
Lin Moyu smiled, "We'll talk properly after we get home I have lots to say to you all."
He turned to Purple Star Sovereign. "Do you find my gift satisfactory?"
Purple Star Sovereign said, "When we took your wives away, there was another reason we were trying to protect them."
Lin Moyu responded, "I understand; otherwise, would you think I'm so easygoing? None of us want to be pawns I don't, and neither do you."
Purple Star Sovereign said, "But if you don't want to be a pawn, you need strength and now you have Sword Sovereign as your support."
Lin Moyu shook his head, "I've never intended to find someone to lean on; in truth, I could be the support for many others. My sister has her Dao, and I have mine."
"In the eyes of that chess master, I was only a piece but he never imagined the day would come when the piece would overturn the board, even destroy the player."
"Now the catastrophe is here, the heavens will be swept up in chaos, Sovereigns dying will be common. Prepare yourself for what comes next."
"Once my sister's refinement is complete, I'll be refining the core of this realm too. There will be no more Divine Lotus World you can finally rest after all these busy years."
"When you're refining, another opportunity will come maybe enough to push you further. You probably won't break through to Sovereign yet, but at least you'll lay a foundation; treat it as my second gift. How about it?"
Purple Star Sovereign replied reluctantly, "So be it."
