Chapter 4616: A Strange Domain
The great tribulation of the Chaos Ancient Wilds was beginning, but within the storage space, everything was peaceful, like a paradise removed from the world.
Lin Moyu left a clone in the Chaos Ancient Wilds, imprinted with his soul, to trick the heavens into thinking he was still there.
His true self had entered the storage space and was staying with Ning Yiyi and the others.
The tribulation would be long, there was no rush it could waste decades, even centuries, and it wouldn't matter.
After years apart, he naturally wanted to spend more time with them.
Ning Yiyi and the others quickly accepted the new world, and after much discussion, gave it a name:
Yu God World!
Lin Moyu accepted "Yu God World" without objection.
When he branded the name into the world's laws, the heavens thundered the name was instantly known to every creature being born in the new world.
The characters for "Yu God World" fused with the world's laws, never to be changed.
Lin Moyu led Ning Yiyi and the group as they toured every corner of Yu God World, watching the new life being born and introducing them to Xiao Wu and the others.
They liked Xiao Wu's group a lot, especially since Xiao Wu called them "Madam Master," filling their hearts with delight.
An Yuyan took a trip back to her own domain to visit old friends.
Gu Hanyu returned to the Origin Continent to see her sect and Gu Hanjing.
Yuzhu went to the Great World to visit relatives and friends.
Many years had passed; some people were already gone, but those places still held their memories Lin Moyu accompanied them.
Only Ning Yiyi, Mu Qianqin, Mo Yun, and Shu Han had no world to return to their birth worlds had been taken away by Calamity Sovereign, leaving them with no home.
They felt a bit lost, but eventually accepted it.
Dealing with the issue of small worlds was no easy task, and Lin Moyu made no promises to them.
Some promises are pointless making them and not keeping them is worse than saying nothing at all.
Lin Moyu's clone went to the edge of the domain.
Of the Nine Realms, four had reached perfection, while five were nearing perfection.
He fixed his gaze on the Science Realm, which had just reached perfection, and murmured, "Of all Nine Realms, this is the only one I can't understand."
Beside him, Chaos Gem had taken the shape of a small person.
"It really is strange this realm only has one Dao, and that Dao is completely different from the rules of Chaos Ancient Wilds."
Lin Moyu said, "Strictly speaking, this Dao shouldn't exist, but it does it can support an entire realm by itself, and hasn't developed any other Daos."
All Daos are always evolving a strong Dao should create weaker Daos.
That's a universal trait, but the physical Dao in the Science Realm didn't follow this pattern.
It was packed with supreme logic, yet refused to evolve, giving Lin Moyu a sense of extreme precision.
Chaos Gem asked, "How did you feel when you encountered this Dao?"
Lin Moyu replied, "Nothing special at first, but looking back, the lack of feeling is strange.
I've thought about it maybe it relates to my previous life."
Chaos Gem asked, "What was your previous life like?"
Lin Moyu answered,
"My previous world was very odd there were no cultivators; people used steel to build skyscrapers, airplanes, cars.
These weren't magical treasures, just tools.
You didn't need to refine them just know how to operate them, and anyone could use them.
That world was called Huaxia, and people lived short lives, seldom more than a hundred years, often sick.
But they had infinite creativity, unlike the unchanging ways of other worlds.
When I first arrived, I thought it was just another strange world.
Later I saw a projection of it in the Great World, which seemed like my previous life.
But on closer inspection, it wasn't; the aircraft and cars in that projection were actually magic weapons and there were cultivators.
Another thing I once obtained a secret technique (Origin Magic) from a "source bird."
Later I learned, source birds are creatures of chaos, and Sovereign Boyang refined his bloodline into Origin Magic and scattered it in my "thinking domain."
I realized Sovereign Boyang had prepared Origin Magic just for me; by spreading it through the domain, he dodged causality and made my existence more plausible.
I even found characters from Huaxia; in time I learned they weren't authentic Huaxia script, just similar signs, which Sovereign Boyang got by accident."
As Lin Moyu grew in power, he figured out many mysteries.
But he was never able to find any trace of the real Huaxia world.
His past seemed a puzzle without a thread.
He was certain, however, his previous life had nothing to do with Calamity Sovereign's plot.
That plot began from the moment he traveled into the small world.
Now, the strongest connection to Huaxia was the physical Dao in the Science Realm, because Huaxia also had physical laws a phenomenon he had not found in other realms nor in Chaos World's laws.
Chaos Gem asked, "Is it possible a Dao mutation in some realm spawned the Huaxia world?"
Lin Moyu shook his head,
"I checked carefully the world's laws told me, that never happened."
At his power and soul depth, near the Sovereign limit, most questions needed no outside verification he could simply sense the answer from the laws.
Chaos Gem pondered,
"Strange, then."
Lin Moyu agreed, "That's why I'm asking you. Maybe your experience can provide an answer."
Chaos Gem responded,
"Let me think. My memories go way back. Let me try to recall."
His memories were vast; Lin Moyu didn't interrupt him.
After a while, Chaos Gem spoke, uncertain,
"I remembered a legend from a group of extremely powerful Sovereigns, discussing a key question: the origin of all worlds.
I thought about it too, but never got an answer.
So it remains unproven a mere legend."
Chaos Gem began slowly recounting the legend.
At the Sovereign level, secrets within the world vanish, so they turn their gaze to what's beyond the world's edge.
Beyond the world, there are only two things: the World Wall (source of all primal world treasures, and the source of whether a world can become a living world)
And the Life Forbidden Zone.
But the Forbidden Zone is impassable, so not worthy of deep discussion.
The focus lands on the World Wall.
After much study, Sovereigns determined a mysterious passage exists within the World Wall.
At the end of that passage, the secret of all world origins is hidden.
