The newcomer's aura was imposing he was a quasi Sovereign.
His eyes held confusion, as if he didn't know why he'd ended up here.
Only Chaos Gem understood: world laws, driven by the calamity, cause all sorts of weird events.
He might have been peacefully in seclusion one moment, only for a space time channel to suddenly appear in front of him and pull him here.
That's just the basic kind of incident many other strange things happen too.
His gaze swept across billions of miles, and a third eye appeared at his brow a compound eye, full of countless swirling pupils.
He saw through the Hidden Spirit Pearl, spotted Lin Moyu, and the nine domains circling him.
"Nine domains, breaking through to perfection!"
"He's the heir to that Calamity bastard's will!"
Suddenly he roared low, radiating a fierce killing intent.
With a wave, he summoned a spear that became a lightning dragon, crossing void and striking at Lin Moyu.
"Get to work who's first…"
Chaos Gem hadn't finished when a golden glow flew up a moment later it smashed into the spear.
With a bang, the glow bounced back, the spear was knocked aside.
Little Peng had used his talons to deflect the spear, picking up a minor wound.
Such surface wounds barely mattered to Little Peng he'd heal instantly.
He turned into golden light, moving so fast he overtook the rebounding spear and appeared before the attacker almost at once.
Countless gold rays surged; the attacker's expression changed he hadn't anticipated such speed or ferocity.
He shouted, and his compound eye shot out clouds of light that wrapped around him.
Light met Little Peng's charge, and both were blasted back each injured, the cloud of light shattered, both knocked away.
Chaos Gem yelled, "Go wild I'll cover your aura!"
With his help, a patch of phantom space wrapped Little Peng a fake domain woven by the Domain Gem to shield Little Peng's presence.
With Chaos Gem's support, Little Peng fought recklessly, wholly unafraid.
In deep space, Little Peng became pure golden light; his absolute speed forced his opponent on the defensive.
The attacker ignited in flame, turning the void into a sea of fire, but he still couldn't stop Little Peng.
Little Tree asked, "Was he brought by world laws?"
Chaos Gem replied, "Exactly. The world's in a tribulation, and the laws drag people over to target the Master. But it's useless: the Master's ready no quasi Sovereign can cause trouble."
Chaos Child said, "From his power, he must be that Nine Suns Sovereign from the Eastern Extremity."
Chaos Gem said, "It should be him."
Eastern Extremity siblings brother Nine Suns Sovereign, a quasi Sovereign; sister September Sovereign, a true Sovereign.
This time, world laws brought Nine Suns Sovereign over; though strong, he couldn't break Little Peng's defense.
Suddenly, Chaos Gem looked far away: "Some are trying to spy."
Little Tree felt it too countless roots pierced the void at the distant observers.
Billions of insects advanced spies for Golden Sovereign, who watched all of Chaos Ancient Wilds through his creatures.
He couldn't fool Chaos Gem before getting close, he'd been noticed and attacked by Little Tree.
Interwoven roots formed a dense net, destroying the incoming swarm.
Far off in the Southern Extremity, Golden Sovereign sensed masses of his insects dying, though he couldn't tell exactly what happened.
Faintly, he sensed something big was brewing.
He slapped his insect tablet, which flared bright, producing a giant vortex.
Enormous bugs wriggled inside, passing through to Chaos Ancient Wilds.
Insects awoke in the deepest pockets, forming wormholes for the army's advance.
These bugs, clearly stronger, provided bigger, faster transit tunnels.
The insect horde raced toward Chaos Ancient Wilds, converging near Lin Moyu's formation.
They dove into the deepest space, surging at Lin Moyu.
Chaos Gem muttered, "Looks like I wasn't harsh enough!"
Little Tree replied, "They won't get through."
The web of roots moved to confront the horde.
A fierce war broke out, and the insect army was rapidly annihilated by Little Tree.
Golden Sovereign sensed the damage, face dark, eyes full of emotion.
"Just who dares challenge me?!"
He was at his final step soon to separate from the tablet and regain freedom.
Unable to move for now, he sent more insects.
But no matter how many came, all were destroyed he saw nothing but some tree branches.
His murderous intent grew deeper; even he hadn't realized how much rage this stranger provoked.
Unknowingly, he too was affected by world laws, becoming part of the battle.
With the tribulation upon them, everyone but Lin Moyu the tribulation target and a few who surpass Sovereign were mentally swayed by its influence.
The insect tablet trembled; a mantis like bug over a kilometer long flew out.
It radiated quasi Sovereign power and dove into the vortex toward Chaos Ancient Wilds.
Southern Extremity's quasi Sovereigns, most of whom were born from the tablet, might not match others in single combat but outnumber all rivals.
Some say the Southern Extremity boasts at least twelve quasi Sovereign insects; with them all focused, they could overwhelm any region.
Quasi Sovereigns rarely act, but this time Golden Sovereign rushed one in perhaps not even understanding why.
The giant bug entered Chaos Ancient Wilds through a wormhole, aiming straight for Lin Moyu.
Little Tree blocked him and the fight began.
Root webs turned into myriad divine weapons, smashing the void.
Little Tree didn't fear quasi Sovereigns killing them was tough, but they couldn't break through.
Chaos Gem watched Lin Moyu merging domains. "There'll likely be more trouble who knows how long Master needs."
Even merging nine domains at once goes slowly.
Chaos Gem sensed changing world laws, knowing Lin Moyu kept challenging rule boundaries until his breakthrough is complete, the laws won't relent.
Elsewhere, another void shattered tens of thousands of ancient wild beasts charged out, all peak Chaos Realm or full perfection.
Each beast carried a unique wild aura, clearly arriving from Scarwild.
The beasts lacked intelligence; as soon as they emerged, they swarmed Lin Moyu by instinctive pact.
Chaos Child said, "I'll go."
Chaos Gem shook his head, "No need, Master has his arrangements."
