Lin Moyu quickly realized something was off with Sovereign September. She sat cross legged, eyes closed, pouring all her focus into some task and unable to spare any attention elsewhere.
Chaos Gem remarked, "She's working on the channel," displaying sharper insight than Lin Moyu.
Lin Moyu asked, "How is the unraveling going?"
Chaos Gem replied, "She's made a crack. This passage is extremely strange just by looking at the surface, you can't tell anything. You have to interact with it directly. Master, your stone tower is probably the key to the passage."
For a Sovereign to struggle so hard, this passage was indeed extraordinary.
After arriving, Lin Moyu kept silent and still. Gold Sun Sovereign dared not act either; instead, he raised the nine suns in full vigilance.
After watching a while, Lin Moyu finally spoke up, "I am not a bloodthirsty man. I'll give you all one more chance: step aside, and I won't trouble you."
Gold Sun Sovereign replied softly, "Same answer as before impossible!"
As soon as the words fell, the nine suns shot out tens of thousands of fire rays.

In an instant, a grand formation emerged from the sea of fire, trapping Lin Moyu.
Sovereign Nine Suns had set the formation within the Fire Sea itself, channeling the full strength of the sea and summoning the power of the Chaos Dao.
It turned the Fire Sea into its foundation, refining all life and matter, while also using the Dao of Chaos as a prison that none could escape.
Even a Sovereign caught in this array would suffer endlessly the last time it was used, it trapped a Sovereign for a hundred years.

Lin Moyu, bathed in flames, felt the East Extreme Fire driven to its utmost. To him, though, it was just a touch warmer. Hurting him with this fire was nearly impossible.
Lin Moyu had many ways to break the formation the simplest being brute force: just unleash Ultimate Undying and throw a couple of punches, and the array would be shattered.
Overwhelming power smashes all methods. As long as the strength is sufficient, no formation or technique can withstand.
But such a method wouldn't truly crush their spirits.
If someone uses a formation against him, he might as well just collect the entire formation take the whole East Extreme Fire Sea along with it.
This so called East Extreme Purgatory array must have taken years to arrange; it held all the Fire Sea's power and essentially was its core.
With it, he could compress the entire Fire Sea and store it in the formation, then simply take it away.
While not much compared to his domain, it would be a nice landscape to show his wife every so often.
If Sovereign Nine Suns knew Lin Moyu's thoughts, he'd definitely regret ever using the array.
But it was too late now. After observing for a while, Lin Moyu had already mastered every detail of the formation.
Even though Lin Moyu was the world's public enemy, shielded by the world's rules, his mastery of formations and runes persisted.
The world's rules cannot block runes; otherwise, in the ancient chaos wilds, all arrays and runes would fail.
With a flick of his wrist, Lin Moyu cast hundreds of runes, weaving them through the flames and into the formation itself.
With his runes added, the array became even stronger, stretching the East Extreme Fire Sea's limits further than ever before.
Operating the array, Nine Suns Sovereign was suddenly perplexed. "Why did the formation just get stronger?"
Beside him, Gold Sun Sovereign whispered, "Stronger is better, right? Just burn him and refine his soul."
He was only a remnant soul by now and destined never to recover his peak. His hatred for Lin Moyu was boundless, never considering that Nine Suns might have deliberately let him take the fall to test Lin Moyu's power.
Nine Suns Sovereign shook his head, "It's not that simple. I know the power of the East Extreme Purgatory, and now it's already past its designed limit."
Gold Sun Sovereign pressed, "What does that mean? Is that good or bad?"
As a fragment soul, his thoughts were increasingly simplistic and reckless, influenced further by the great calamity.
The array's power grew even higher, and the entire Fire Sea surged and boiled.
In the distance, shrieks rose creatures that once lived in the Fire Sea were now burned and refined, becoming fuel for the inferno.
Nine Suns Sovereign's face paled. "This is bad the array's gone out of control!"
He sensed trouble, but couldn't pinpoint the origin.
No matter how he wracked his brain, he could never guess the array was being taken over.
The Fire Sea boiled to the extreme, then began to shrink at breathtaking speed within half an hour, it had shrunk millions of times, down to just a thousand miles across, the core of the array.
As the Fire Sea shrank, its power increased further, becoming so intense even Nine Suns felt the heat, and Gold Sun, once a fire Dao quasi Sovereign, was scalded.
Nine Suns Sovereign's face turned ashen as he realized he'd lost all control of the array it was no longer his, and could even be used against him.
Lin Moyu strolled unscathed from the fire. The shrunken formation condensed further, finally becoming a flame the size of a fist in his palm searingly hot.
He tossed the fire up and down, grinning, "East Extreme Fire Sea isn't bad. I'll gladly take it."
He made no apologies, sending the Fire Sea into his own domain now it belonged to him and had nothing to do with the Eastern region anymore.
Nine Suns looked pale and shivering, torn between anger and fear.
Losing the Fire Sea meant losing the foundation of the Eastern region how could he not rage?
Yet Lin Moyu's abilities left him terrified how could anyone turn a hostile formation back on the caster?
In all his years, Nine Suns had not met a single formation master in the chaos wilds capable of this.
Gold Sun's soul trembled uncontrollably, finally stammering, "Impossible this can't be happening!"
Lin Moyu simply shook his head; this remnant soul was on the verge of madness, as disorder crept into his spirit.
The first quasi Sovereign to go insane was about to appear.
Lin Moyu said, "Enough theater time for business!"
With that, he threw a punch; instantly, the void filled with giant fists, raining down like a violent storm across billions of miles.
