Through Emperor Azure Break's words, Lin Moyu became even more certain that he had not chosen the wrong path.
It was the right decision not to become a Supreme in the Chaos Ancient Wasteland Chaos Ancient Wasteland was too weak.
Yu Shen Heaven, though he did not yet know how many cycles it could reach, was certainly stronger than Chaos Ancient Wasteland. On this point, Lin Moyu was confident.

Emperor Azure Break smiled, "Indeed. Do you know why, Lin Daoyou?"
Lin Moyu replied, "Because the rules of a seven cycle world and above are too strict. The world itself is so strong that it becomes almost impossible for anyone to reach Supreme within it."
"But if someone did succeed, that Supreme would surely be extremely powerful!"
Emperor Azure Break confirmed his answer, "That's right. I once tried to refine a seven cycle world. Its power far surpassed that of a six cycle world at least a hundredfold."
"From cycles one to six, each is an orderly step up. But once you step into the realm of seven cycles, the upgrade is a leap, like the difference between a dead world and a living world a fundamental change at its core."
"That's also why, in all the countless living beings and cultivators within a seven cycle world, there has never emerged a Supreme."
"If someone wishes to achieve Supreme in a seven cycle world, in my eyes, there is only one possible method."
"That is: to enter that world early, at the moment it becomes a birth world, and then achieve Supreme."
Lin Moyu looked at Emperor Azure Break. "Like you did?"
Emperor Azure Break was a bit surprised that Lin Moyu would guess his origins, as this was his secret, never told to anyone.
But he did not say more about it. Instead, his gaze toward Lin Moyu changed somewhat he seemed to have more confidence in him.

Actually, at that time I still had a choice, but I gave it up. Of all my life's decisions, that was the greatest mistake, one that decided my future. But even if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have had a real choice."
"So, Lin Daoyou, every decision must be made with care."
"In the information I've given you, there is a secret technique called Searching the Heavens. I used it to find worlds. Unfortunately, every use of this secret technique drastically consumes and overdraws the soul and life force."
"I used it three times in a row and reached my limit; after that, I could only choose to attain Dao in the world I found."
Lin Moyu understood what the Searching the Heavens technique was for, but was not in a hurry to ask for details. Instead, he voiced a question. "But now it isn't like your era. Today all worlds have collapsed even with such a secret technique, I couldn't find a suitable world."
Emperor Azure Break shook his head. "On the contrary, now is the best opportunity."
Lin Moyu raised an eyebrow. "Why is that?"
Emperor Azure Break said, "The world you are in now was born after the destruction of all worlds, before the Great Destruction, and as the last brilliance before the final end."
"Most destroyed worlds have perished a handful remain, like moths. Your world, by contrast, is a fire in the darkness, and those moths will be drawn naturally to it."
"Now that a great tribulation has begun in your world, those other worlds will form channels and, as the tribulation progresses, appear one by one."
"Among them will certainly be worlds above seven cycles; such worlds never fully perish."
"If you can refine one of these worlds and merge it with yourself, pushing your power to the extreme, then break through your own limits…"
"Then you need not achieve Dao within your own world, but can transcend worlds and prove the Dao through trial."
"In this way, you might enter the Life Forbidden Zone on your own power."
"If you can find a nine cycle world it might not be fully destroyed, but most likely downgraded to a level equivalent to seven cycles then it would be a surviving remnant."
"If you could become a Supreme in such a world, that would be another method."
"The paths exist, but you must choose for yourself. As one who failed, I cannot give a more accurate suggestion."
Indeed, there are many ways to become a Supreme.
Proving through power is the strongest method, but even this has more than one path:
You can walk the path of proving with power inside a world, and basically finish refining that world as you become Supreme.
Or you can ignore the world and rely entirely on your own strength, then refine the world after having become Supreme.
Both are valid routes of proof by power; refining worlds strengthens oneself and completes this path. The difference is that the latter allows you to keep strengthening yourself with outside resources and is less constrained by the world, whereas the former makes you subject to your world's limitations.
Emperor Azure Break walked the first path, but ultimately was limited by his own world, unable to break through.
He did the very best he could; after all, very few Supremes were ever born in six cycle worlds, and Emperor Azure Break became Supreme early hence his unmatched standing among all Supremes.
Lin Moyu, however, had his own plans. He truly wanted to refine other worlds first, to strengthen Yu Shen Heaven, and second, to make the Burning World even more powerful.
He would not become Dao in the Chaos Ancient Wasteland, but in his own Yu Shen Heaven.
He planned to become Dao before Yu Shen Heaven's first great tribulation, even though this was a gamble.
He would bet on Yu Shen Heaven being strong enough, and on Yu Shen Heaven becoming a birth world.
He spent a long time in conversation with Emperor Azure Break, learning much before bidding farewell.
His connection to the Azure Break Crystal did not break; through this link, he could directly access all the Primal Techniques within the crystal, and communicate with the will of Emperor Azure Break at any time.
Having a nearly all knowing elder at his side was no bad thing.
Within Yu Shen Heaven, Lin Moyu opened a separate space, cut off from the outside, dedicated to storing the Azure Break Crystal.
He was cautious, and would not put the crystal in his soul world.
Yu Shen Heaven was his territory, and this method was much safer.
He first read through all the information Emperor Azure Break had given him understanding of the worlds, all of Emperor Azure Break's knowledge and experiences, secret arts, and details on a host of Supremes.
Emperor Azure Break believed in drawing analogies. He was proud but not conceited in this, very much like Lin Moyu.
After studying it all, Lin Moyu's vision of that past era became clearer.
Yet he also knew that if he could not break out of the Life Forbidden Zone, then after many years the true Great Destruction would inevitably come.
At that time, none would escape not even Yu Shen Heaven, which would be destroyed with everything else; all would be leveled and begun anew!
