Chapter 4838 - Chapter 4838: Still Not Strong Enough in Body and Soul

Chapter 4838: Still Not Strong Enough in Body and Soul

In the void, multicolored radiance blazed, with countless worlds suspended within it.

Lin Moyu could see that this radiance was Dao heart divine light, and that the worlds he beheld were likewise worlds within that light.

Within his own Dao heart radiance, worlds also rose and fell, and all living things were born and died within them.

Yet those worlds were still hollow illusions, mere phantoms.

By contrast, the worlds before him felt truly real.

Within the void worlds, Great Dao currents coiled and rules crisscrossed.

Inside the worlds, life abounded without end; Lin Moyu could even sense the power of faith generated by these living beings.

"Could it be that these are not worlds inside divine light, but rather…"

A bold guess surfaced in his mind if the worlds within divine light could turn from illusion into reality and become true worlds, then the beings inside those worlds could also become true living beings.

Would that not make him like a Creator, able to forge heaven and earth, all things, and even open up Forbidden Zones of Life?

The thought was audacious, yet once it appeared, it could not be contained.

Staring into the worlds within the divine radiance, Lin Moyu's eyes glittered.

He was not watching their surfaces, but instead seeking their deepest foundations.

Looking at the surface of a world was useless; only by grasping its foundation could one understand how to turn divine light worlds from illusion into reality.

Every bit of insight flowed into his mind's eye, as though a living example had been placed before him for continuous study.

This was far more useful than any verbal teaching.

Though the comprehension was his own work, he could attain much more this way.

Furthermore, everything he understood would belong wholly to him he was not walking another's path.

He faintly understood the other party's intention: to make him walk his own road, not tread old tracks.

If the old path already had limits, then following another's steps might lead only to a dead end.

He had always taken a different road from others, and this time was no exception.

Watching the worlds evolve inside the divine radiance, he sought their fundamentals, converting each droplet of insight into his own understanding.

Gradually, his Dao heart radiance began to change.

One of the worlds within it slowly solidified, turning from illusory to real.

The process was not fast and was extremely intricate.

For a world to exist stably, it needed rules, a Dao, and countless details.

Seeking the near and discarding the far, Lin Moyu gave up many things and first condensed a simple, ordinary world.

This world contained no powerful rules and no Great Dao.

The beings inside possessed only the simplest awareness and could not cultivate.

Their lifespans were extremely short; the longest lived for just one day, the shortest for only a brief moment.

Even so, the instant this world took shape, his Dao heart radiance changed.

When his Dao heart first reached perfection, it had already grown dramatically, but that was a matter of strength and completion.

This time, it was a qualitative transformation.

The very nature of his Dao heart radiance had changed; within it now existed a world a true world belonging to Lin Moyu alone.

Previously, whether it was the Word God Heaven and Earth or the Ten Regions, none were created by him.

He was merely their owner, not their creator.

Now, he had become a creator the origin lord of this world.

Everything in it was fashioned by him; the forms, natures, and even the lifespans and destinies of every being could be decided with a single thought.

This feeling of omnipotence and omniscience was completely different from anything before.

The Dao heart radiance grew heavy; immense pressure poured from it, and both body and soul sank under its weight.

He felt as if an entire world had been placed upon him.

At other times, a single world would not have frightened him if he wished, he could even shatter it.

But now this world was not something he could break it was something he had to bear.

One tiny world was nothing; even ten or a hundred would be manageable.

Yet if there were billions, his body and soul could not endure it.

As the radiance filling the hall faded, a beam of light descended, strengthening his soul and body further and easing the pressure slightly.

"So that is how it is."

At last, Lin Moyu understood why his body and soul had to be constantly strengthened the root lay here.

When worlds evolved within his Dao heart radiance and turned from illusion into reality, the weight of those worlds would fall directly on him, to be borne by his body and soul.

If they were not strong enough, then after just a few worlds his body and soul would collapse at best, making movement difficult and shattering the worlds; at worst, causing his body to fall apart and his soul to dissipate.

Thus, his physical body and soul had to be strengthened without pause, and even now they were far from enough.

"With my current body and soul, I can bear at most a thousand small worlds."

"Yet the worlds I saw in that divine radiance were far more than a mere million.

"The more worlds there are, the stronger this Dao heart radiance becomes.

"The stronger the radiance, the stronger my formations."

"In other words, I must strengthen my body and soul so I can carry more worlds.

"In the end, the body and soul are the foundation."

He understood: body and soul truly were the root.

If the foundation was weak, everything built upon it was illusion.

Once the radiance in the hall had fully dissipated, Lin Moyu continued toward the sixty second divine hall.

Inside was once again the evolution of countless worlds.

He studied them closely, turning what he saw into his own comprehension and using it to evolve worlds within his own radiance.

So it went, one hall after another.

Each hall contained different worlds, each more complex than the last; the time needed to comprehend them grew longer, and the difficulty rose without end.

The number of worlds belonging to Lin Moyu steadily increased, and their internal rules gradually grew more complex.

Out of those rules, Great Daos began to emerge.

He started ranking his own worlds by tiers and levels.

In some powerful ones, the beings had already embarked on cultivation.

At the same time, he recalled his mastery of the Physical Great Dao.

In certain worlds, he had their inhabitants pursue technology instead of cultivation a different path.

In other worlds, he blended cultivation with technology, forging yet another road.

The worlds within his radiance grew ever richer, and their numbers climbed higher.

By the time he stepped out from the seventieth divine hall, he possessed a full hundred worlds.

"The pressure on my body and soul keeps increasing.

"I did not expect that the more complex a world is, the more strain it causes."

"Before, I thought I could bear a thousand worlds it seems I was wrong."

"At this rate, another hundred worlds or so will bring me to the limit."

His earlier estimate of a thousand worlds had been based on the weakest ones.

As the worlds he evolved grew stronger and their rules more intricate, the pressure they exerted likewise intensified.

He knew he had to strengthen his body and soul, but such growth was not something that happened just because he wished it.

The rewards from the halls could no longer keep pace with his needs, and he did not yet have a better method.

Looking toward the distant seventy first hall, Lin Moyu murmured, "He must know this as well.

"The solution is likely inside the seventy first hall."

After clearing dozens of halls, he had roughly discerned the pattern.

The master Nine Heavens Divine Lord had never spoken a word or revealed himself, yet had arranged everything in advance.

It was as though he had foreseen every possibility; all Lin Moyu needed to do was walk forward step by step.

Every problem that arose would have its solution; at worst, he simply would not condense new worlds for a while.

The hundred worlds he currently possessed already brought him enormous benefits.
