Anda did not stay speechless for long.
"Senior Kajol, this is my husband," she said calmly. "My relationship with President Albert is simply that of a teacher and student. He witnessed the Fire Concept I acquired through enlightenment, and as much of a genius as he is, he managed to grasp the Fire Concept himself after seeing it just once."
While mentioning the Fire Concept, dozens of fireballs suddenly appeared around them without any warning or Qi circulation. It was Anda demonstrating her power.
Kajol could immediately tell that Anda was not lying. The fireballs were not created through ordinary Qi. She was genuinely amazed because Dao Enlightenment was an incredibly rare phenomenon bestowed upon the lucky ones.
"This panda is his gratitude to me for showing him the Fire Concept," Anda continued. The fireballs disappeared as quickly as they had appeared.
"Are you saying you're the teacher and he's the student?" Kajol raised an eyebrow.
"No," Anda shook her head. "I'm still stuck within what was enlightened to me and have to rely on my own comprehension to progress further. After figuring out the Fire Concept, his progress has been incredibly fast, while mine has barely advanced. So he guided me on how to proceed even further. Because of this, I consider him my teacher."
It was true. After Albert's guidance, her progress with the Fire Concept had sped up significantly. After Leyvi and Caterina's wedding, she had gone to seek President Albert for more pointers. Witnessing how far he had progressed reminded her once again just how much of a genius he truly was.
"Hmph. Fine," Kajol said. "You can keep that panda since you helped him. But I'm still going to beat that bastard up for giving it away!"
The initial hostility in her eyes toward Anda had completely turned into gratitude. She understood how important this was for Albert.
It meant he had cleared one of the most crucial requirements to break through to the next major realm. And when that time came, he would stand on the same level as the Protectors.
Anda smiled warmly. "Thank you, Senior. I actually like this panda very much."
Afterward, Kajol invited them all inside the house.
Leyvi quietly scanned the basement with his spiritual sense and saw that many ongoing research projects were related to Yin Yang. It was obvious they were all connected to Caterina's condition. There were also many puppets with detailed body parts carefully labeled, probably something else she had been studying.
After catching up with Caterina for a while, Kajol began chatting with Anda. At first, she was curious about Anda's unique fashion sense, but the conversation slowly spiraled into topics about pandas. The more they talked, the more Kajol's old enthusiasm for pandas began to resurface. She even started reminiscing about her past.
It turned out that when she was still a young cultivator, she had been accidentally saved by a powerful demonic panda. She had been chased by an evil cultivator and tried to hide inside a bamboo forest. The evil cultivator started destroying the bamboo forest just to find her. As he caused destruction everywhere, a huge panda suddenly descended from above and slammed the evil cultivator to death with its massive body. It was furious that its home was being destroyed.
This happened during the lawless period of the Cloud Continent, before the Protectors established order. Kajol had become obsessed with pandas ever since that day.
While reminiscing, her long-buried interest in pandas exploded once again.
Leyvi obviously knew this was Anda's tactic to turn Kajol into one of her allies. The panda was the perfect gateway for that.
And sure enough, when Kajol's excitement reached its peak, Anda brought out the seven pandas. The panda lover in Kajol was completely brought back to life with this move.
It seemed Anda had trained them quite well. The moment they appeared, the seven pandas immediately swarmed around Kajol, acting as cute as they possibly could.
Being surrounded by the pandas she loved so much, Kajol was sent straight to heaven.
Just like that, Kajol became extremely nice to Anda, declaring her as her best panda-lover friend.
Caterina, who was watching the whole scene unfold, could not help but feel shocked. After all, it had taken her many years to become close with Kajol, yet Anda had managed to turn her into a friendly and enthusiastic ally in just one meeting.
It reminded her of how she herself had been convinced by Anda into marrying Leyvi back then.
Her ability to spontaneously exploit people's emotions and manipulate them so naturally was certainly terrifying.
...
Later, Kajol decided to become the Leyan Family's tour guide, happily replacing Caterina for the day. Since she was a long-time resident here, she could take them to places that even Caterina was not familiar with.
For example, Kajol could bring them inside the prestigious Cloud Origin Academy thanks to her identity as a professor there. She taught students about cultivators' body anatomy, which also included the rare topic of Unique Heavenly Bodies.
One of her lifelong goals was to rearrange body structures and replicate Unique Heavenly Bodies in normal people who had not been born with one.
As an expert on this subject, she had naturally already noticed that both Anda and Lilian possessed Unique Heavenly Bodies.
But what she did not know was that Anda's Unique Heavenly Body had come through body modification from the Talent Bead's Fragrance talent, while Lilian's had been granted to her through body modification by her Divine Mentor.
Anda and Lilian were literally living examples of what Kajol's lifelong goal was aiming for, yet unfortunately for her, she remained completely unaware of this fact.
And so, using her status as a professor, Kajol brought the Leyan Family to visit the Cloud Origin Academy.
From the moment Leyvi stepped through the academy's main entrance, his body was enveloped by an incredibly dense spiritual energy in the atmosphere.
He could not help but feel amazed. Anyone who studied here would be able to enjoy such a rich spiritual energy environment at all times. This density was even stronger than the spiritual energy at home, which had already been greatly enhanced by the presence of a Spiritual Vein.
To maintain such a high density of spiritual energy constantly, it would be impossible to rely on spirit stones alone. They must be using one or more Spiritual Veins. Given how large the academy was, he suspected there might be several of them hidden beneath the grounds.
Their presence naturally attracted many curious and often disdainful gazes from the students. Without surprise, quite a few of them looked down on the group, and some even muttered condescending words as they passed by.
Unfortunately for those students, the Leyan Family was not the type to care about such petty stares. They simply minded their own business and continued walking, which denied the arrogant students the satisfaction they usually fed off. In the end, they only ended up hurting their own feelings by being completely ignored.
Only Dorin Homun seemed slightly affected by it. She used to behave just like them. Blindly arrogant. Seeing their attitude reminded her strongly of her past self. It felt both annoying and embarrassing to watch.
On the other hand, Kajol found the whole situation quite amusing. It made her like the Leyan Family even more.
As a professor here, she was naturally aware of many students' attitudes. Many of them came from prestigious families across the continent.
The academy was open to everyone, but because of the extremely difficult entry requirements, most of those accepted naturally came from families that could afford to train and educate their children from a very young age.
Naturally, such an environment also produced its fair share of people who believed their intelligence made them superior to others.
However, when those from less fortunate backgrounds managed to make it into the academy, they were almost always incredibly talented, geniuses among geniuses. They tended to eclipse everyone else with their achievements in the long run.
Kajol personally knew such an individual and had even fallen in love with one in the past. The only setback was that such people usually came with rather eccentric personalities.
Ignoring the many arrogant students around them, Leyvi acknowledged that this academy was extremely advantageous for any cultivator who wanted to pursue deeper knowledge. They had everything here. You could explore any field you desired.
And according to Kajol, if a student or professor wished to explore a completely new field of study, the academy would even cooperate in establishing new facilities and departments, provided they could convince the higher-ups of its potential value.
This convinced Leyvi that the academy truly was dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. One day, if he had children who were smart enough, he would probably send them here too. The academy was simply that great.
"Come, let me show you something," Kajol said with an excited smile. "It's a continent-long secret research project that has recently been declassified and will soon be available to the public."
The Leyan Family members were surprised. A continent secret research project? Declassified? This sounded very important.
"Are you sure you can show it to us?" Anda asked, wondering what it could be.
"Hehe. Don't worry," Kajol replied. "As I said, it has already been declassified. What I'm about to show you is a brand new cultivation path that will shake the entire continent!"
"We call it Spiritual Cultivation!"
"..."
"..."
But contrary to her expectation, the shock and awe she had imagined did not appear.
Kajol blinked in confusion.
She looked behind her and saw the Leyan Family members all turning to stare at Leyvi with dumbfounded expressions.
