Chapter 395 - 394: Elemental God Tower

The images of Yun Wuji and Hei Xiaolian mingled together in his World of Profound Veins, their lips locked and faces tilted slightly as their tongues intertwined. Both were drawn deeper into each other's mouths, a trail of saliva glistening between them. Hei Xiaolian wrapped her arms around his neck, while Yun Wuji held her silky black hair as they continued their kiss.

"..." Li Suo stared at the passionate scene blankly. The two seemed as if they wanted to devour each other or merge into one. She let out a tired sigh before saying, "Can you two please do it somewhere else?"

"How annoying, you ruined the mood!" Hei Xiaolian pulled reluctantly away from Yun Wuji and glared at Li Suo. Her chest still heaved, sending waves of movement across her chest.

Li Suo didn't answer. She glanced at her once before looking away. For some reason, a strange sensation had begun to stir in her body. At the same time, a curious thought crossed her mind, 'She is always asking him to do that kind of thing with her. Does it really feel that good?'

Yun Wuji stopped kissing Hei Xiaolian, but he did not let go of her. He continued to hold her tightly, his gaze fixed on the last memory fragment, which radiated a soul aura completely different from the ones before.

"This soul aura..." Li Suo expressed deep doubt. "Is it... mine?"

"Strange," Yun Wuji said, equally surprised. "How could the Heretic God have a memory fragment belonging to you? Unless you gave it to him."

The soul energy released by the fragment was extremely weak, yet it carried a profound sense of incompleteness, as if faded by time or damaged by external forces.

The white light from the fragment dissipated, revealing a pure white world within Yun Wuji's consciousness.

As the world gradually cleared, Yun Wuji once again saw the outline of the Temple of Life.

The image remained extremely blurry, scattered with broken fragments everywhere.

Within the image, a white celestial figure slowly walked towards the Coffin of Eternity. Though blurred like mist, her peerless divine form remained clearly recognizable as Li Suo, the Creation Goddess of Life.

'Why the fuck are all images of her blurry? He must have done this on purpose. Ni Xuan, fuck you!' Yun Wuji's face darkened as he stared at the blurry figure of Li Suo.

After Li Suo touched the Coffin of Eternity and saw Hong'er, she marveled at her soul, which was half Devil and half God. Immediately after, another vague silhouette appeared. The image was so unclear that Yun Wuji could only make out a young girl with black hair. She introduced herself as Ni Jie, the daughter of Ni Xuan and Jie Yuan.

Her voice was ethereal and dreamy, and from Li Suo's reaction, it was clear that she was incomprehensibly beautiful.

Li Suo gently lowered her snow-white hand, her eyes fixed on the girl's silhouette. "How could this world hold such beauty..."

For the world's most beautiful woman to say such a thing showed just how extraordinary Ni Jie was. She was still young at that time, and if she were to grow up, who knew how breathtaking she would become.

She told Li Suo that she had secretly hidden a wisp of her soul when Ni Xuan separated her Devil soul. Because he was too distracted, he had not noticed. She wanted Li Suo to help her and requested that when Li Suo strengthened her soul, she must not destroy her soul base or soul source, so that one day in the future, both her souls could be merged together once more.

Ni Jie wanted to wait until Mo E died, so that his promise to the Heaven Punishing Sword's spirit would be fulfilled, allowing her to finally fuse her souls back without her father or Mo E breaking their vows. She wanted to help her father heal his soul, which had been broken by self-blame and guilt, because she did not want her mother to be sad when she returned.

However, the problem with Ni Jie's plan was that if her soul base and soul source were not restored, her body and mind could never truly grow, and she would always remain in the form of a young girl. The chances of fully restoring her soul were slim and uncertain.

This explained why the minds and bodies of Hong'er and You'er remained those of young girls, despite having lived for millions of years.

What caught Yun Wuji's attention and caused him to frown deeply was the last thing Ni Jie had said. "Senior Li Suo, please agree. In return, I can tell you a big secret. When my father was fighting Senior Mo E, I discovered I could... sense... the punishing..."

Before she could finish her words, Ni Jie's silhouette suddenly vanished.

After that, the distorted, blurry image shifted silently like ripples on water, but the scene remained within the Temple of Life.

"Master, who is she? So lovely!" A woman's voice exclaimed in astonishment as she gazed at the girl sleeping peacefully within the crystal coffin.

Though the image and sound were severely torn and blurry, Yun Wuji instantly recognized Shen Xi's presence and voice.

This voice, however, carried the spirit of a young girl, not the ethereal, misty tone he was familiar with.

Shen Xi told him that she had been accepted as Li Suo's disciple since she was young.

In the image, Li Suo spoke softly, "She will be my future adopted daughter and a great friend. However, I have not been able to give her a name yet."

"As for a name..." Shen Xi paused, then playfully said, "Today, the Wanhu flowers in the Sacred Garden are in full bloom. They are truly beautiful, as if welcoming her arrival. So, let us call her Wan Hu, okay?"

Li Suo smiled and nodded slightly. "Okay."

After that, the scene showed the leader of the Sword Spirit Clan coming to see Li Suo. She told him that she wanted to merge his dead daughter's sword spirit with Wan Hu, using it as a guide to allow the new sword spirit to achieve a harmonious union with her body.

The clan leader initially refused, but after Li Suo revealed that Wan Hu was the daughter of Ni Xuan, he accepted.

The memory fragment ended with the clan leader promising never to reveal Wan Hu's identity and to grant her a lifetime of peace and happiness.

Although all the memories faded, Yun Wuji remained still, deeply absorbed in what he had seen. This memory unexpectedly contained more information than all the previous ones combined.

For example, the clan leader said, "I remember that the Coffin of Eternity was gifted to Lord Ni Xuan by Lord Xi Ke. It holds eternal power and serves as the foundation of the Elemental God Tower, ensuring its eternal standing. Why is it here? And the girl within..."

Strangely, Li Suo replied, "There is no longer a Creation God of the Elements in this world, and the Elemental God Tower no longer exists."

It is understandable for her to say, 'There is no longer a Creation God of the Elements in this world.' But why did she say, 'The Elemental God Tower no longer exists'?

Yun Wuji noticed this detail because not long ago, Shenwu Qing, who had visited the Pure Land, told him that the Pure Land sat atop an enormous tower, which people in the Abyss called the Nameless Tower.

If the Coffin of Eternity was the core of the Elemental God Tower and Ni Xuan had taken it to preserve Hong'er's life, then it was reasonable that the tower no longer stood. Still, it seemed impossible that something Ni Xuan had created could simply be destroyed. This made Yun Wuji think of the Nameless Tower. Could it be that Ni Xuan had thrown the Elemental God Tower into the Abyss of Nothingness, and Mo Su had picked it up and used it?

If that were the case, it would at least partly explain why Mo Su used a tower as the core for the Pure Land.

In fact, Yun Wuji had another thought, one he had been pondering since arriving in the Abyss. At its peak, the Primal Chaos had birthed countless True Gods and Devil Gods, and could even support the existence of Creation Gods and the Devil Emperors without issue. Logically, since the Abyss had devoured 99% of the Primal Chaos's energies, it should still be capable of giving birth to many True Gods and Devil Gods.

But the strange thing was that since the beginning of the Abyss, no one had actually broken through to the True God Realm. All the True Gods who had existed in the history of the Abyss were either those who had been thrown into it and survived, or the seven True Gods from the Kingdoms of God who inherited their divine power.

The High Priests were also individuals who had survived since the Era of Gods, ending up in the Abyss for various reasons.

Logically, this did not make any sense. Even if the energy level of the Abyss were a whole level lower than the old Primal Chaos, it should still be possible for exceptional individuals to reach the True God Realm. Yet in all of history, no one had ever reached that level.

"The Nether Mirror needs the cooperation of all the True Gods and the leader of the Ancestral Dragon Clan to activate. How did Mo Su use the Devil Pearl to create the Cradle?" Yun Wuji had been pondering this for a long time, but he could not find an answer.

After seeing this memory, some of his doubts began to clear. Yun Wuji guessed that perhaps Mo Su had used the Elemental God Tower to power the Devil Pearl, harnessing the power of the elements to draw most of the energies in the Abyss to create something as heaven-defying and law-breaking as the Cradle.

Of course, this could also be wrong, but when Yun Wuji connected these dots, it felt as if everything finally made sense.

"Coffin of Eternity. Perhaps if Mo Su had the Coffin of Eternity, he wouldn't have gone through all these troubles," Yun Wuji whispered. The Coffin of Eternity could keep anything placed inside it in the same state as before, meaning that even if someone were severely injured and had only one breath left, they would remain alive as long as they stayed inside.

In order to save Hong'er's life, the Sword Spirit God Clan used the Coffin of Eternity to stop the poison from further spreading inside her body. It kept her alive for over a million years.

"Whether that Nameless Tower is the Elemental God Tower or not is not important now. What matters is what Ni Jie said," Yun Wuji scratched his chin and spoke aloud.

"She said, 'could... sense... the punishing.' Too bad she disappeared before finishing what she wanted to say. Did you guess what she meant?" Li Suo noticed his seriousness and asked him.
