The small black bead flew away, disappearing into the black smoke. As the smoke gradually dissipated, the small shrine returned to normal, still appearing somewhat cramped, with a stiff clay statue of mediocre workmanship still standing on the altar.
No one knows what happened here, and probably no one cares.
The only ones who care about that ghost are a few other ghosts, the debt collectors.
Just a few hours later, the debt collectors appeared in the small town, found a ghost who had worshipped at the shrine together, and confirmed that the gambling ghost was indeed in this small town.
The debt collectors went to the shrine but didn't find anything, then searched around the small town, asked other ghosts, but still found no trace.
In the end, they could only conclude that the gambling ghost had run away.
A gambling ghost on the run, with no news, everyone would find this normal.
