Without a full realm of protection like the Abyss Great Wall, only towers whose bases have sunk beneath the Endless Sea emit a faint brilliance, protecting the few World Islands capable of sustaining life.
Within the world scope of the Sea of Sighs, these protective towers themselves also have a dormancy mechanism; if the Yuan Force isn't replenished quickly enough, they will abandon their duties, leading to the threat of Abyssal Creatures or migration.
