Nesta gulped when his eyes met the penetrating gaze of the red eyes which stared at him vehemently. Its intensity which fueled its glow went up as she spouted her commands.
"Come here"she ordered once again and this time though Nesta was fully aware that his body was the one which had obeyed her without a second thought.
What is happening?
He asked himself as he slowly approached the mysterious woman once again. His hands trembled exactly when the echoes of what he had done to her yesterday played in his head. Fear and embarrassment settled in with each progress he made towards her.
Strands of her chestnut brown hair wavered around her graceful figure which was impeccable in the eyes of men. It was as if her hair defied gravity with its movement. Her beauty was one of a kind, one which was not easy to come by.
In spite of the awkwardness of the situation he was in, Nesta took his time to take in all the features of hers that no one will pay attention to. Her skin was as pale as a porcelain doll which made him wonder if it was a healthy skin color.
Upon reaching her Nesta stood silently without being able to say anything since he had not been told to say anything.
"Don't go to it again"she spouted out her rules with her voice a bit deeper than what a woman is supposed to have. Nesta's eyes flashed a little red and disappeared as if it had never happened.
A tingling sensation washed all over his face when the woman finished her words. This made a smile appear on his face as he wanted to giggle desperately but the red eyes staring at him weren't ready to leave him be.
Suddenly the pressure which compelled him to follow her was lifted as the red eyes of the mysterious woman vanished leaving her with a set of black eyes in the end. Nesta's eyes narrowed with all that had happened to him within this short period of time.
"I'm sorry for what happened yesterday "
He had wanted to tell her off for instilling fear in him with her red eyes but he wasn't currently ready to battle such a beast.
"No problem . You are a man , you are not a tree and it's nice that you at least know to respond to your urges like one."
"Don't worry about about me and take care of yourself. Do you know what could have happened to you if you had touched that thing?"she warned with scornful look on her delicate face.
Her clothes were a stark contrast to her fair skin which looked much pale than before. It gave off far more than a white marble could. She wore a black medieval armor which absorbed all of the lights which graced its surface.
An arrow which can zap away blood and now an armor which does the same to light. Who is this woman?
"Are you not hungry?"she asked clearly attempting to salvage the awkward situation. Her right hand reached out for Nesta's own as she pulled him out of the room.
His face flashed with shades of red as her palm caressed his. What surprised him the most was the fact that her palm was not normal.
Why is it cold?
He asked rhetorically while staring deeply at the hand which was rubbing against his.
They ascended some stairs which was right in front of the door they had exited the room from. Throughout the way Nesta could sense the shadows within the room shifting and swirling around both of their bodies. They danced like apparitions which were lost repeating what happened in their last moment.
Why is this world full of this icy feeling—the feeling of death. Why is it so dense and intense around here?
He wondered with a serious look on his face as he seized up the woman pulling him by the hand.
The floorboards squeaked when they had reached the top of the staircase. Nesta looked around the place in awe because he couldn't believe his eyes. The whole place was straight out of a museum. Something clicked in his head as he took in everything he was seeing.
"This place reminds me of one of the buildings which stood tall during the Edo era of Japan, the nagaya to be precise"he muttered out with a smile on his face.
The geography lessons did not go to waste.
The mysterious woman looked at him for a while and pouted clearly showing her annoyance to the words he had spoken.
"Did you have to talk ill of my humble abode?"she asked.
Her eyes glowed red a little which sent shivers down Nesta's spine. He knew what could happen if he was to say something unpleasant to her. With his hands up high he attempted to plead.
"I was only saying that the interior of your home reminded of me of something I know off"
"Hmmm, I don't believe you"she said while the red glow in her eyes intensified.
Nesta quickly bowed politely as he apologetically pleaded for something he had not done.
The tension in the room built up as several items in the room shook under the pressure of her eyes. Nesta gulped down saliva in as much as he tried his best to save face.
"What did I do?"he asked blatantly.
The pressure the room was experiencing disappeared when she heard what he asked.
"You've got some balls talking to me like that….."
An eerie silence encompassed the entire room they were in after she had spoken. Nesta's heartbeat skyrocketed as he waited for his inevitable doom but it never came. Instead all he could hear was incoherent laughter, laughter which came out of the elegant being in front of him.
It started off as guttural sounds and soon shook Nesta to his very core when it no longer seemed normal.
How can all of this come from such a delicate body?
He wondered.
Minutes later and he was currently cross-legged while sitting on the floor in the mysterious woman's Kitchen. The aromatic scent of cooked meat filled the air causing Nesta to salivate a little. It has been a while since food entered his stomach. All of the food he had eaten before coming to this place was ripped out his body by the monstrosity which attacked him in the infirmary.
Remembering the infirmary though, he placed his hands gently on his head while he recited some words out of the depths of his heart.
"What are you doing?"the woman asked.
She thought that Nesta was desperately trying to not look at her back which she was swaying around with how she was working in her medieval kitchen. Truth be told, Nesta could not even believe what he was seeing.
How is she able to sway that body of hers swiftly like that?
He had mumbled to himself in as much as he tried his best not to look at her body.
"Nothing"he muttered out to her hearing while his cheeks flashed bright red in embarrassment.
"Your face tells a different story "she said and chuckled slightly.
He had wanted to retort back but he was currently out of words. His eyes met what he was trying his best not to see.
"Why are you doing this to me?"he asked politely and stood up from the ground ready to leave the kitchen if need be.
"Sit down!"
She commanded and without a single thought, he was once again sitting on the floor with his legs crossed. This time though, Nesta could not decide what he wanted to do since the command was to only sit down. His eyes were now uncontrollably glued to her hips which were swayed from side to side at an astonishing speed. This caused her bottom to jiggle deliberately with each oscillation made under her rhythmic movement.
Nesta gulped down saliva once again as tried to think of something else. His thoughts became clouded with the movements her body was making.
"I'm not a perv….ert."
"What's your name?"she asked after her body came to a stop abruptly.
"Oh it took you long enough to ask."
"What did you say brat?"she asked through hisses.
"Nesta! I'm Nesta Smith"he answered with a terrified expression on his face which depicted how close he came to dying.
"Oh I've never heard of such a name. It's nice though"she said through uninterrupted giggles.
"You seem very happy today"
"Are you mocking me with your words. Who told you that you can get cocky in front of me?"
She gave out a light smile while staring intently at Nesta who was trying his best to hide his face in between his hands.
"I will call you Kiddo from now onwards "she declared.
Nesta wanted to protest but with his current strength he wasn't ready to battle this freak.
"I've told you my name so it's only right that you also tell me your own"he demanded.
"Oh it's nice of you to ask. I'm Clara. Just that, no surname or nonsense a such attached"she said with a big smile on her face. The smile was apparently bigger than her face—creeping Nesta out.
"I would like to add your 'Smith' to my name though"she continued and giggled when she had finished her words.
