Gu Qian slept until mid-afternoon when hunger woke her. She opened her eyes, and Mo Beichen pushed open the door, spotting the little bundle rolling around. He had a smile on his lips; how could his little darling be so adorable? He slowly walked over and sat down by the bed, "Awake?"
The man's voice was deep with a hint of laughter, seemingly very pleased.
Gu Qian snuggled under the blanket, only exposing her eyes, staring at him unblinkingly, "What time is it now?"
Mo Beichen raised his wrist to check his watch, "It's half-past three in the afternoon, get up and have something to eat, okay?"
He was being unreasonably gentle and lightly tugged at the blanket. Gu Qian hurriedly said, "You go out first. I'll come out after I change."
Mo Beichen placed the clothes from the bedside table beside her pillow, turned, and went out, thoughtfully closing the door behind him.
