Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai finished their breakfast and stood up.
"I drive my car, okay." Cheng Xiao said to Xu Kai.
"But..." Xu Kai opened his mouth in a protest.
"Slow!" Cheng Xiao cut him off, reminding him that they were taking their relationship slow.
Although all Xu Kai wanted was to shout to the entire world that Cheng Xiao was his wife, he had to respect that Cheng Xiao was not ready for that yet. With a smile he got into his own car, Cheng Xiao got into her own car as well and they both went to work.
Cheng Xiao arrived at work and went straight and logged in, she walked to the lift and entered inside, luckily for her, there was not many people inside. She reached her floor and got out, Cheng Xiao walked to her department and greeted colleagues that were there already.
"Good morning!" She greeted.
"Good morning, Cheng Xiao!" They greeted back.
"How was your weekend?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"It was good." A colleague replied.
"And yours? How was your weekend." Someone asked.
"It was good as well." Cheng Xiao replied and opened her laptop.
Su Li arrived and wanted to ask Cheng Xiao how she was, but she decided to not ask her now, after all they were not alone. There were still other people who would use this as a new gossip topic.
"Cheng Xiao, are you okay?" Su Li asked.
"I am, thank you for asking." Cheng Xioa replied.
"Yesterday?" Su Li whispered.
"I will tell you at lunch." Cheng Xiao said to Su Li.
Su Li nodded and dropped the topic. They started with their work; Cheng Xiao stood up and went to pour herself a glass of water. She poured water in a glass and brought it up for Su Li.
"Thank you!" Su Li said taking the glass from her and drank the water.
"You are a life savior." Su Li said releasing a sigh.
"It is no problem." Cheng Xiao said and went back to her seat
