"Come Cheng Xiao I will fill you in." Su Li said waving for Cheng Xiao to come over.
"What happened?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"She has been fired." Su Li said.
"I must say your husband moves fast." Su Li whispered.
"I thought that he would have sent her to jail." Su Li added.
"He was, but I stopped him." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Why did you stop him?" Su Li asked.
"After all she almost harmed you." Su Li said.
"I know but I didn't do it for her, the Gu family are one of the first people that started this company if he were to send her to jail, it would have damaged the relationship between the two families." Cheng Xiao replied, she had wanted Gu Xixi to pay for her crimes but then she decided to go with what was best for the company.
"Only you can stay magnanimous." Su Li said.
"Anyway, what will we have for lunch?" Su Li asked.
"You two go on ahead I will have lunch with him." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Him? Huh!" Su Li teased.
"Stop it!" Cheng Xiao said with a blush creeping on her face.
Su Li and Shen Mu walked into the cafeteria together.
"She has officially ditched us." Shen Mu said whining.
"I am just happy for her." Su Li replied.
"She is clingly now to him." Su Li added.
"It is better than how she always avoided him when they first got married." Shen Mu said.
"She hated him to the core but look at her now." Shen Mu added.
"I still cannot believe how they got married." Su Li said.
"He really did drag her from her date to the mall to change her clothes she woke up and there was a certificate in her hand. She was outside the marriage bureau and had no idea she just got married." Shen Mu explained and they laughed.
Cheng Xiao entered Xu Kai's office and closed the door behind her. Xu Kai sat on the sofa and looked up when he heard the door opening, when he saw her, he let out a smile. Cheng Xiao gave him a small smile and planned on sitting on the chair besides him, but Xu Kai grabbed her hand pulled her to him.
She landed up on his lap and Xu Kai wrapped an arm around her waist burying his head in her neck.
"How are supposed to eat in this position?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Let me hold you for a while." He said breathing in her scent.
"I heard you fired Gu Xixi today." Cheng Xiao said.
"You were worried about the Gu family, but I don't. I will not tolerate anyone who tries to harm you." Xu Kai said his eyes looking at her lips.
Cheng Xiao saw where his eyes were fixated and leaned down and pressed her lips on his own.
