The random cultist parries Xzaivier and Yagumi away. The cultist smirks before raising hand which has the kanji for Allies on it as 100s of cultists, dark claw and 2 dark wolves appear behind him.
Random Cultist: That'll probably keep you busy Yagumi. As for you Xzaivier...
The cultist raises his other hand and the kanji for teleport is summoned on it. Xzaivier and the random Cultist teleport to the Great Valley of Sol. Xzaivier looks down and notices that he's standing on the lake's water. Xzaivier scowls and prepares his Flame blade, the cultist prepares the spear blade.
The cultist runs at Xzaivier and attempts to slash him but Xzaivier blocks the attack before attempting one of his own, Xzaivier attempts to bring the blade down upon the cultist's face but Xzaivier's attack's too slow so the cultist manages to duck before kicking Xzaivier in the ankles, putting him on his back. The cultist attempts to stab Xzaivier with the spear blade but Xzaivier rolls away from the stab attempts before getting up and kicking the cultists away.
Xzaivier: (in his mind) The flame blade, it's too big and heavy. My attacks are simply not fast enough... it's gonna stay that way.
Xzaivier detransforms the flame blade and sheathes the katana.
Xzaivier: You win.
Cultist: Excuse me?!
Xzaivier: My attacks are too slow to make this fight entertaining, but you don't have to worry, in a few days I'll be in the Hollowlands... only then can I give you a show.
Cultist: I usually kill and devour adversaries that lay their weapons down. I guess I can let you off this time, you did just receive your new powers. When you do get to the Hollowlands, I'll be there. I am Null. An elite cultist
Xzaivier widens his eyes but smirks.
Xzaivier: Don't get this wrong though, You will die along side your master.
Null: Hmph.
Null teleports them back to Waterbay village where a tired Yagumi stands atop a mountain of bodies with his Grim Reaper scorpion whips flaring.
Yagumi looks back, his eye flaring violently with the Grim reaper's promise of death.
Yagumi: There he is...
Yagumi raises his blade whips and smashes them into Null. Null telekinetically blocks the attack with his Aku no eye. Yagumi raises his blade whips again, releasing dozens of Grim reaper slashes which are easily blocked by Null's Aku no eye telekinesis.
Null: Are you finished?
Yagumi: Hell no!
Xzaivier: Yagumi, we have to go.
Yagumi scowls.
Yagumi: I'll see you in the Hollowlands, bastard!
Yagumi's blade whips transform back into the Grim reaper blades.
The two get back to walking and arrive tired at their PSSO Citadels in 3 days (Yagumi and Jin were moved to different Citadels, Yagumi to Citadel 1, Jin to Citadel 3), just in time for the sword saint briefing. All captains of all 15 Citadels in the nation of Sol must brief their Citadel on the current situation with Amai. Citadel 2's (Xzaivier's Citadel) new captain walks out onto the auditorium's stage and it was surprising to every F rank that had just graduated from sword saint academy in the crowd, including Xzaivier. His light tanned skin brimming in the flood lights, his dark blue wolf cut messy but acceptable, bandages over one of his eyes, his white, short-sleeved Haori tailored to perfection and his white Jika Tabi boots thudding against the stage's floor as he reveals himself...
Sensei Gara: Sword Saints of Citadel 2, today I, your new captain am here to brief on the Emperor's (The highest rank in the PSSO and the leader/ monarch of their nation. Every nation has an Emperor) plan of action against Gimori.
Sensei Gara unfolds a piece of paper and clears his throat.
Sensei Gara: Along with the 16 year old academy sword saint known as Amai Nova, 1000s of others have been kidnapped and taken the Hollowlands for Gimori's annual sacrifice. For years we have let Gimori have his way but this year we fight for our people. 10000 of the 100000 sword saints in each Citadel will be chosen by the Citadel captain and be deployed to war against the Hollowlands and Gimori. The total amount of sword saints which will be 150000 will be given a week to train and get themselves together.
Sensei Gara puts away the paper.
Sensei Gara: Since I've just been promoted from Sensei to Citadel captain today, I'm going to need an Citadel Auxiliary. So in two days on the Citadel's notice board, alongside the 10000 ticked deployment names, one name will have a star next to it.
Sensei Gara smirks before looking Xzaivier dead in the eyes.
Sensei Gara: I think i know exactly who I want my Citadel Auxiliary to be. Thank you for your time everybody.
Everyone claps as Sensei Gara exits the auditorium's stage but Xzaivier just sits there, glaring at Sensei Gara. Xzaivier knows Sensei Gara won't pick him.
