When Toro was a child his parents had either died or abandoned him and his brothers. For as long as he could remember it was just him and his two brothers. His younger brother Coyote was just a baby and he wasn't too young to take care of himself, the one who protected and took care of them both was his older brother Jaguar.
Jaguar was far too young for the responsibilities that were thrust upon him, but he selflessly and tirelessly did whatever it took to keep his brothers safe. He was the only authority figure that the two children had until one day he mysteriously disappeared as well. They never knew what had happened to their older brother, but now he was standing in front of them in the middle of the arena.
"Long time no see big brother. Where've you been? We missed you at Christmas." Toro said as he continued to follow up his attack.
"Don't call me that. I've abandoned both my name and my former bonds in the pursuit of something greater." "Star" said as he continued the fight.
"I'm sure you've got a long and interesting backstory, but I didn't come here to reminisce. I'm here for a fight!"
"I can see that you're just as impertinent as ever, but you do have a point. The past doesn't matter right now. What matters now is the future!"
"Star's Radiance!!!!!"
A burst of energy struck Toro but he was able to mostly block it. "Star" had now unleashed his full power and was exchanging devastating techniques with Toro. Toro then started to use his Formless Kenpo.
"Did you think that these techniques would catch me off guard?" "Star" said before he retaliated by using the same techniques against him.
"How do you know Formless Kempo?" Toro asked.
"It's simple, I learned it from the same man who taught you." "Star" replied. "Of course, you know the true purpose of Formless Kempo is to incorporated into the individual's special ability. That is why it's referred to as Formless. Although the martial art has some set basic techniques, it's true form is determined by individual who masters it."
"Of course I know that." Toro said. (He didn't.)
"You've added your mastery of weapons and your special ability to your Formless Kempo thus creating your own fighting style. Coyote has done the same. As for me, I've added by Formless Kempo to my special ability which gives me power from the stars. My ability is leaps and bounds more powerful than yours and our mastery of Formless Kempo is roughly equal. Therefore, your victory is impossible. Why don't you save yourself the pain and just give up?"
"Well, that wouldn't be a bad idea, but I think that there's something that you're overlooking."
"And what would that be?"
"Whether or not your Kempo is actually equal to mine."
Toro then proceeded to clobber "Star" as the fight turned into a fist fight. It quickly became clear to everyone watching that Toro's martial arts skills far outclassed his older brother's.
"What? How can this be?" "Star" asked bewildered.
"It's simple brother. Your ability grants you the great power of the stars, because of that you've grown to rely on it over your kempo. You've neglected your kempo because you've been able to defeat all of your previous opponents so easily." Toro replied. "I'll finish this now. Witness the power I've attained by fully integrating my ability with my kempo!"
"Treasured Sword Form: Excalibur!!!!!!!"
"Very well, I'll respond with my strongest technique."
"Starlight Devastation!!!!!!!!!!!"
A massive burst of energy was fired towards Toro who responded by swinging his arm down and the slash of his blade cut through "Star's" attack and struck his body. The slash wounded him but it was shallow enough that he could easily continue to fight.
"Now I should finish things with the strongest attack that I'm currently capable of." Toro said.
"That wasn't his strongest attack? I was barely able to avoid critical damage on his last attack. How much power can he possibly have left?" "Star" thought.
"Treasured Spear Form: Gae Bolg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Toro thrust his hand forward and the powerful aura pierced through "Star's" defenses. Although he had tried to defend himself the best he could, "Star" was still extremely damaged by the attack. He had done just enough to avoid a fatal blow, but he was currently lying on the ground incapacitated.
"This fight is over, just give up brother. I don't want to have to kill you." Toro said.
"I'll never give up. I'd rather die than surrender." "Star" said defiantly.
"Now, now, that's enough of that." A voice boomed through out the stadium.
