Leaky Cauldron,

London

With a blue flash of light, Shae, Codename—Golden Mage, of the Thunder Faction, teleported inside an empty room.

Her golden hair had gained a bright shine since her resurrection into the Primordial Tower. Her ebony-colored pupils, behind the round glasses, were still the same, but there was a distinct mysticism about them.

She was wearing a slim, white T-shirt, pressed tight against her breasts, over blue jeans.

With one thought, a black cowl covered her curves, hiding half her face under the hood.

"Ah, hello…"

Shae looked and found the painting of an old wizard calling her toward it.

It didn't surprise her in the least, and she walked forward, ignoring the wizard's lecherous expression.

The moment she stood right in front of the painting, the old wizard began speaking, detailing her Mission.

[

Main Mission: Help Lord Voldemort kidnap Harry Potter

Main Mission Summary:

Late December,

One day before the Christmas Holiday at Hogwarts.

The Dark Alliance and the Order of Black Phoenix have entered into a ceasefire that can last up to a year. To get around the deal, the Dark Alliance has cast Lord Voldemort out of its circle, letting him freely return to Britain to regain his lost powers.

Due to timeline divergences, Harry Potter is still in his third year.

If things remained like this, then Lord Voldemort would never be able to finish the Homunculus Ritual to regain his body, which needs Harry Potter's blood.

Mission Objective: Contact Lord Voldemort and help him kidnap Harry Potter before the next term starts.

Mission Time Limit: 14 Days

Mission Grade: C-

Note:

— As a Commander of Guard, you are allowed a team of up to 10 Contestants, which may be a part of your Party below your Floor

— Under no circumstances you are to approach Darcie Malfoy

— The Mission Grade can randomly jump to B+, depending upon your interactions

Shae stumbled back, her eyes popping out.

Her breathing quickened and almost choked the life out of her.

After completing well over two dozen Main Missions, Shae had learned to pick out the information hidden in the Main Mission itself.

Divergences? Okay. No big deal. She could definitely improvise with them.

The Dark Alliance and the Order of Black Phoenix? Okay. Manageable. It wouldn't be her first time meeting a twisted Dumbledore.

Contact Lord Voldemort? Preferable. She was a Chaos Contestant at the end of the day and had an upper hand when it came to Dark Wizard–related Missions.

But…

Darcie Malfoy?

Even if this was one of those timelines where Draco was a girl, why would the Mission implicitly mention her name and tell her not to approach her?!

And…

The Mission Grade could jump to B+?!

Wasn't that equivalent to a freaking 12th-Floor-level Mission?!!

Shae had only recently ascended to the 7th Floor, and this was only the first of many Main Missions she needed to ascend to the 8th Floor.

If it weren't for Arlen's… unusual state, she would have never attempted a Main Mission so soon.

It hadn't even been a year since she had married him!

Shae calmed herself down, gulping.

She was already here. And it wasn't like she had a choice. No Contestant had a choice when it came to Main Missions. So, she must do as the Mission advised — stick to her Objective and ignore everything else.

That's what her experience had embedded in her mind.

And, if there was one thing that she had learned in these years, then it was the fact that the more a Contestant tried to ignore the System's Warnings, the greater the chance of never returning to the Tower alive.

Shae nodded to herself, taking another deep breath.

First, she needed to bring her Party Members.

That's where her advantage lay, as Golden Mage of the Thunder Faction.

The System said she could call Members only from below her Floor, but… it didn't say that they couldn't all be from the 6th Floor.

After half an hour, three figures stood in front of Shae.

Luna, Patricia, and Cooler, she remembered their names.

At this level, numbers didn't matter much, especially when one could afford quality over quantity.

Luna and Patricia were High-Level 6th-Floor Contestants.

Cooler? He was a Top-level 6th-Floor Contestant… just as she was before ascending her Set.

"I thought the more you climb up the Tower, the fewer Missions you get from your Prime Bubble," Cooler commented. "Isn't yours Harry Potter, Miss Golden Mage?"

All Contestants had a set of Core Worlds where they were repeatedly sent for Main Missions. Among these, there was one world that had the highest affinity for a Contestant. Thus, it was called a Contestant's Prime World.

Shae nodded authoritatively. "The Random World of Harry Potter… is a touch different."

Luna and Patricia frowned, while Cooler kept a stoic expression.

"This is a common misconception among the Contestants regarding the Harry Potter Bubble," Shae continued, noticing their curiosity. "People think that this world… lacks strength. To an extent, they wouldn't be wrong. Harry Potter's Magic System, especially the inclusion of the Wand, is far behind that of some advanced Worlds that also offer the same, like Black Clover. But that's only because these Contestants never unlock the full potential of a Spell."

"Potential of a Spell?" Luna asked, her voice ringing like the sweet chirping of birds.

"Have you heard of Expelliarmus?" Shae asked, smiling.

All three Contestants of the 6th Floor nodded, as the Disarming Charm was one of the most commonly used Spells, even by those who had never been to the Harry Potter Bubble.

"Do you know how Contestants learn it?" Shae asked.

Luna put her finger on her chin. "… Just buy a Wand-Item with the Spell stored inside it."

Patricia, whose curves rivaled Shae's, squeezed her eyes. "Get it as a Mission's Reward in Harry Potter Bubble, I guess."

Cooler rubbed his thumb on his forefinger, thinking hard. "I think…" he said, looking at the small smile on Golden Mage's luscious lips. "… the strongest way is to learn it from a Storyline Character?"

Shae's smile bloomed. "Close…" she nodded, standing up. "… but not quite right. The Disarming Charm will reveal its fullest potential only if you learn it from Harry Potter himself."

All 6th-Floor Contestants' eyes shook.

"Equip a Title you gained in the 1st Set," Shae commanded Cooler.

The Top-level Contestant did as he was told, but his heart skipped a beat in the next instant as the Golden Mage took out her Wand.

It was a beautiful piece of wood, adorned with several golden veins.

And then it happened, in the blink of an eye.

Shae flicked her Wand. "Expelliarmus!"

And Cooler… stumbled back a step.

"…?"

Luna and Patricia looked at each other, looking thoroughly unimpressed.

However, when Cooler looked up, there was nothing but dread on his face.

"… You…" the Contestant said, carrying a chill in his voice. "… You forcefully unequipped my Title?!"

"What?!" the girls blurted, shocked beyond bounds.

"Expelliarmus from Harry Potter…" Shae said, elegantly seating herself back in the chair. "Killing Curse from Lord Voldemort… Patronus Charm from Lupin… Harry Potter Bubble's Spells reveal their uniqueness — only when one has the authority to learn those Spells most optimally."

And it was that authority that had made her the Golden Mage.

But, seeing the admiring gazes falling on her, Shae didn't find the need to say the last sentence.

"Let's plan our next steps…" the Golden Mage said. "We should be back to the Tower in no time."
