Niftan frowned slightly as he looked outside.
What was that?
It was not just him. Riri also knitted his brows, and he suddenly lost interest in playing. He went to Niftan.
"Grandpa... Rise, where is he?"
Until now, Rise had not changed Riri's way of calling him. Riri's adorable face now had a trace of concern.
Niftan did not know what to answer the child, but he scooped him up and smiled slightly. "Don't worry. Grandpa will call your dad."
Riri tilted his head slightly.
"But I want to see Rise, not Daddy."
After all, he already knew that his daddy, Kamille, had departed to that other home and was not in this city. He misunderstood, and so Niftan only thought the child had yet to acknowledge Rise as his daddy.
He did not make it confusing either. He nodded to the child.
"Right. Grandpa will call Rise, for now, uh..." Niftan looked up and called one of his staff members there. "Look after Riri first."
